Absolutely staff are ignorant and fo not help you at all, I removed most of my money to royal bank of Scotland, bank of Scotland next door, yes asking for passport and photocopied it , why photo copy , yes show them it but to photocopy Big no , manager ain't got any manners at all,Advice bank elsewhere

Dreadful since the bank changed its way of working. No staff available by phone to rectify the mistake they made setting up my account. Online chat offers no option for my particular issue. Help line phone call lost connection and so issue remains unresolved. The counter service previously was first class during the 35 years I've been a customer in that branch.

UNFORTUNATELY THE SEQUENCE OF QUESTIONS COULD HAVE BEEN T0 BETTER USE,AND HAD A TERRIBLE SENSE OF REPEATING ON THEMSELVES WHICH DIDN'T HELP MTTERS ESPECIALLY AS NOT EVERYONE IS NOT COMPUTER LITRITE ,NOR HAS THE REQUIRED RESOURCES. I grudge giving this branch one star. Absolutely atrocious customer service. Unhelpful, bone idol staff. Wanted to pay change into my account and was informed that they only accept 10 bags of coins a day (clearly because the effort of weighing them would mean that the cashier might have to do some work). I asked to close my account and had to wait to speak to the ?manager?. I was taken in the back office to be told that I could not close my account because I never had my passport. Was asked again how much change I had and when I told him the 10 bags a day piffle was reiterated. When I got up to leave I was told that he was trying to help me!!!! In the time that was wasted my change could have been paid into my account 10 times over. I have now closed my account. It amazes me that in this day and age of branch closures that staff wish to sit on their behinds and do nothing. Surely they should be glad of the business or maybe they want to be standing at the back of a dole queue?
