Great staff. Lovely food. Nice location.But really noisy plumbing. When flushing toilet the whole room was engulfed in a weird droning noise when cistern was filling. And it seemed that if someone was showering in a nearby room there was lots of loud noise like an engine running.Plumbing needs a good service.

Very nice, friendly room, my only regret is that having to leave at 7 a.m. for the airport, I was not able to meet anyone to return the keys because the reception door was closed.

The team are warm and friendly, the food and service excellent and Room 2 was warm, comfortable and clean.This was not my first visit and on two separate occasions rooms have either not been clean or in need of maintenance. Clearly, it did not stop me returning.

Had a meal, and an overnight stay for my wifes birthday. The staff were attentive and on the ball from the minute we booked in. The room was quirky, well furnished and right under the iconic Forth Rail Bridge and overlooking the small harbour, where the original ferry to north Queensferry left. Meal was first class, and breakfast was fantastic. Wouldn't advise anyone to stay here, incase next time, there's 'no rooms at the Inn' haha.

Everyone was really friendly and helpful, rooms were beautiful and the bed very comfortable! Breakfast was great and we also sampled the whisky and drinks the night before. Would definitely stay again and was only 2 very small things you could improve on. Exchange the plastic glasses in the bathroom for actual glass (more environmentally friendly) and upgrade the coffee in the rooms! I felt hard done by that my tea drinking husband got premium twinings and I was stuck with basic Nescafé ? It might be time to upgrade to pod machines ?But these are small details and we were very happy with our stay

Nice hotel with cracking views. The train that rumbles over the bridge reminds you what towers over you. It doesn't wake you. It's actually pretty cool.Food & drinks: Very good food and a good choice of beers.

There is nothing to improve on. The Inn was wonderful and room 5 was out of this world. The breakfast was the best we have ever had at a hotel and was so fresh and tasty. The lady who served us and the chef were brilliant and so friendly. Definitely be booking to go back!Rooms: Room 5 was stunning.Food & drinks: Breakfast out of this world best we have had!

We thought the hotel was cozy and it was a great location with fantastic views and breakfast was amazing. Our room was lovley had everything we needed but it did have a smell which we thought maybe is coming from the drains in the bathroom as it smelt lile sewage which was off putting.Rooms: Our room was lovely, had everything we needed but bed was on the slight hard side(personal prefrence) and the bathroom had a strong smell of sweage possible drain problem, which you could smell as soon as you walked in the room. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.Food & drinks: Breakfast was amazing, couldn't fault it and the service was fast.
