Excellent customer service going over and beyond what a 'normal' garage would do. At no point did it feel like they were taking advantage of the fact that I was a woman who didn't know anything about car engines. One of the guys even gave me a lift home! Thanks for your help in my time of need ??

I was having some issues with another garage and asked Central Garage if they would be willing to take on the job instead. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and professional, communication was great at all stages, and they had my car back to me within a few days after it had spent two weeks at the other garage. They will definitely be my first choice in the future.

We had a car emergency whilst on our way to a family camping holiday and we were in a panic when we found Central Garage. They were very busy but they made time to check and repair our car whilst our daughter played in the park across the street. They were so helpful, friendly and reassuring and they resolved a potentially very stressful situation for us. It is so refreshing to get such genuine and fantastic service.

I was recommended this garage for the replacement of the timing belt on my car and I was impressed with the overall service. We were visiting Stirling when our van came up with a fault. We tried to contact garages with no luck. We called into Central Garage who were extremely helpful & didn't hesitate to help us out. Huge thanks to the chap ( so sorry I forgot your name) who helped us out late on Saturday morning .he squeezed us in as we were in a pickle while on holiday .he was lovely taking the time to explain everything . although unable to fix our fault due to our time restraints he was able to find the fault our warning lights were telling us about and reassure us it would be ok to proceed homewards with advice what our garage should do ..thanks lovely experience which seems rare now in garages

Want to say a massive thank you to everyone at Central garage for their help on Friday as we were travelling on our holidays from Aberdeen to Manchester and our car needed to have a look at due to the engine management light coming on. I?m retired. I was working a bank shift at Stirling Community Hospital and got some car trouble. I phoned my breakdown cover and they said that because this wasn?t ?a breakdown? they would have to uplift the car to a garage of my choice. The amount they quoted was unprintable!My colleague suggested Central Garage. Bear in mind that I live in Prestonpans, East Lothian so have no local knowledge of garagesStuart and his colleague came over and within a few minutes had the problem sorted. They refused any compensation saying that they wanted to show their appreciation for NHS workers.Well I was gobsmacked. So what did I do? Sent them a ?wee dram?Stuart the drinks are on me.With service like this I?ll be very surprised if any customer has a genuine reason to complain.Why? Because my experience has shown that you?ll go the extra mile to help anyone even strangers. I was out on business in the office pool car (VW Golf) yesterday and a warning light came up, telling me to check my oil. I did a u-turn back to this garage and within 2 minutes of arrival, (i guess) the boss had put a litre or two in the engine, and I was on my way. The cost? Zero! He wouldn't take anything! 5 star experience here. They took in my car which was experiencing turbo boost problems without any notice. They sorted the problem at a very reasonable price. Really nice and friendly guys to deal with. They will get all my business now.

I've used Central Garage for MOTs and services to my Ford Transit and Ford Fiesta, and they've always been fantastic. They are upfront and practical about solutions and the associated costs which are very reasonable, and do a great job of explaining the repair options to a layman such as myself. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and make an effort to build rapport with returning customers. Would thoroughly recommend.Services: Brakes
