Had an awful experience at this branch this morning. I visited the store at the weekend and asked if I could take the fabric sample home to colour match. I was told (by two staff) that I couldn?t do this at the weekend but that if I returned during the week (when it?s quieter) that I could do so. I arrived today (Thursday, having travelled over 20 miles, heavily pregnant and with a toddler) only to be told that they won?t letme take the sample home. I offered to pay over £100 deposit for it and to return it first thing tomorrow morning with a view to placing the order immediately, however I was told no and in a very abrupt manner. I then asked to speak with the manager who told me I would have to order the couch first, something I am unwilling to do without knowing the colour is correct. I am extremely frustrated at being given conflicting advice and at the way I was spoken to - not with customer service in mind. I understand if there is a policy not to do this, however when I was told otherwise and the shop was empty (no other customers in sight who were looking to see the sample) then I would?ve thought that a bit of discretion, common sense and decency would?ve meant they would?ve allowed it. Awful!

Excellent service. Will was great- gave us information so we could take our time round the shop to find the product that was right for us. Just the right amount of checking in with us. Not like their competitor across the road who ignored us- stood and looked at us when we were struggling to use a recliner.Recommend DFS.

Having visited the two other furniture stores in the retail park about an hour before closing, suited us, timing after work, with an agenda and money to spend, both of the other stores approached us and were helpful. Oak Furniture Land got a sale . On second floor on DFS this evening, we only customers, they knew we were there, completely ignored, they walked about fluffing up cushions on same floor as us, two staff, we actually had to go find them, they together chatting ignoring us, felt unwelcome and like they wanted rid. We ordered online from elsewhere this evening

My daughter had been looking for a chaise sofa for a while, we dropped into DFS Stirling to have a look. We met Ryan and he took the time to understand her needs and preferences, and found the perfect sofa combination. I highly recommend Ryan and DFS Stirling for anyone looking to buy their next sofa. 10/10 to Ryan he is a credit to the DFS brand.

Had a fabulous experience in store. Heather was extremely helpful, really down to earth and honest. Breath of fresh air compared to other stores we had visited that day. Really happy with the instore service, she was very patient. We went away to shop around for hours before we came back to buy form her because the service was excellent.

I purchased a new couch and swivel chair from your Stirling branch, which went as should! Then the real customer service started!!1.. failed delivery with no communication, so left with nowhere to sit for the weekend and told numerous different stories as to why the delivery never happened2.. 2nd delivery, guys horrendous, damaged property and then decided to not even try and get it in the house.. so another day with no furniture3. day of delivery, guys brilliant and managed to get furniture in the living room with no further delivery, great, however the feet were missing from one of the chairs!!4.. fast forward to the 10th feb, 2 service visits for faults with the sofa, supposed workman to repair all damages, and repaint (laughable) if could attach pictures I would5.. nobody answering emails or even acknowledging that they have received6.. been left now with part of my hall, with 2 different coloured walls, and half finished!!7. Isabelle RankineHead Office Escalations Manager, has eventually contacted me today to advise she has spoken to the supposed specialist who left my house like this and they will contact me in due course!!8.. I have sent numerous emails to stirling store, where i made my purchase, and never have they contacted me!!

Ordered a sofa back in July, original delivery for 9/10/22, even after changing delivery address to England they said it will not affect the delivery date. DD came and went, phoned customer services and was told the store would ring us back, was informed by the manager at this store that it would be delivered by the end of the following week (16/10/22). Phone call that week from the assistant manager at the store to say it would be coming via courier to a distribution centre near us for delivery from 18/10/22. Then we had a phone call on 19/10/22 saying it?ll not be on a courier til the following Monday, 24/10/22. I?ll add we do not have a sofa as we left it at our old location because we were happy to go a few days without, not 2 weeks! We have 2 young children and no where to sit. Lots of promises and lies from the member of staff whom we placed the order with (Heather) as well as the assistant manager Dillon and the manager Jennifer. Email now sent to head office regarding the location and delivery of our sofa that has been sat in a distribution centre in Glasgow for over a month. This store is not at all helpful, totally incompetent and all about commission and sales. Our local DFS store has said they are taking us for a ride and there is no reason the sofa shouldn?t have been placed on a courier by 10/10/22.Other stores may be better equipped to manage an order and follow it through to acceptance of delivery, however this store is not.

Just made a visit through to the store to find out the sofa we liked wasn?t stocked there so a bit disappointing n a pointless journey.Other than the younger polite boy that looked like he was fired our way to assist us when we first walked in the store, there was 0 customer service from anyone else! What we did witness was the rest of the staff yip yapping a lot of nonsense to each other, yawning extremely loudly then all having a laugh in their office ignoring every customer that came in n leaving that young lad to approach everyone. One bigger girl with dark hair stood eyeballing me rather than approaching me to see if I needed help which I found totally bizarre!Other than the young lad & a girl serving up the back end of the store the rest need a course in customer service!

Went in to look at sofas on the Monday evening, were greeted by a very friendly and helpful salesperson, advised us on the right sofa for our requirements, to which we said we would have a think and come back as it was near closing time. Decided on the exact sofa we were after, returned on the Wednesday evening around 6pm to see one salesperson occupied whilst the other was standing around. Clearly heard us state that this was the sofa we were after and carried on walking away from us. We ended up leaving and going across to SCS who were more than helpful and ended up getting our custom. A real shame but I guess they?d hit their commission for the month.

Ordered and ex display sofa at the end of March , and arranged delivery date to be May as this was when we moved into to our new house. Heard nothing so I called to see when it would be arriving , was told 18th of May , took the day off work and nothing arrived , called customer services again to be told there was nothing even scheduled in for that day and wouldn?t be arriving until at least end of July. Absolutely horrendous.Also very pushy staff, anything for a sale and as soon as they have it they couldn?t care less . If I could give 0 stars I would

*Edited as now a whole year since placing the order and chasing the incorrect cushions received with delivery, still no resolution*Appalling service, constantly lied to by staff and store managers.- Initial service OK. Ordered sofa and cushions in June 21' with delivery in August 21'- No order confirmation received, called and went into store multiple times to sort. Eventually requested hard copies as still without emails.- Before final invoice was created we swapped cushion style. We were told this was fine and the invoice would be updated. At this time I was given a new order number.- Invoice received still had the old cushions. Raised this with DFS on the phone and in store multiple times. Told it was correct.- Eventually DFS admitted it wasn't correctly updated but not to worry it would be updated and resent.- Invoice received, still incorrect. I refused to pay an incorrect invoice incase it was received and then never resolved. I was told that it would be updated and as long as i paid within 48 hours of my delivery date all would be OK.- Received a call to sort delivery to the BILLING address not the DELIVERY address. Caused issues as it was at the wrong distribution center but got it fixed over the phone. Sorted this with the girl on the phone.- 48 hours before delivery and no fixed invoice. Went into store again to bottom out issues and got told by the store manager that as the sofa was now ready to be delivered if I DIDNT pay the invoice we would be "liable for the sofa being damaged in the warehouse by forklift trucks as it shouldn't be there it should have been delivered." Frankly unbelievable scare tactics and totally unacceptable. I agreed to pay on the promise the cushions were being ordered and there would be no additional charge for these as at this point we just wanted a sofa to sit on.- Sofa arrived with the wrong cushions, a broken foot on the footstool and the stitching broken on the footstool within a few days.- Reported the issues. Was given a prompt date for a repair man who would also bring the right cushions. Repair man did a good job - did not bring the cushions.- Called and told there was photographic proof the cushions had been delivered. This was of the wrong cushions taken by delivery men of sofa. I got told that if I wanted different cushions I would have to pay for them. I refused, escalated the issue. Back and forth on various emails. Eventually I am told they will get the right cushions for free as a goodwill gesture despite this being what i had ordered.*Edited as now a whole year since placing the order and chasing*- Fast forward a whole year to here following 20+ phone calls, tens of visits to the Stirling store and 40+ messages on social media/emails. Constantly promised an update in a few weeks. Constantly told cushions should be delivered in a few weeks. Now onto the forth attempt to order the cushions as they keep getting ordered and being "ready for collection" but are then "lost" when I go to collect them or when they go to deliver them.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE STIRLING STORE.

Small store with minimal selection, dfs should really implement a system to allow you to check if a store has a certain sofa on display.
