What you'd expect of a Wetherspoons. I've always received good service, the food is decent considering the low price and I really like the wood fire downstairs. Their bouncers are usually friendly too.The only mark down is for the cleanliness of the tables and menus

Good for a quick, low priced meal or drink. Comfortable surroundings. Good for breakfast with veggie and vegan options.

It's a spoons, 2 levels and gets nice and lively at the weekends. Helpful staff.Vegetarian options: good vegetarian/vegan menu and usually always have stock unlike many other restaurantsParking: There are a few bays across the street I think but parking anywhere in the city centre is very limited. I recomend parking at Vue Cinema and walking across the bridge into town. Or use the free Park and Ride service from Springkerse retail parkKid-friendliness: Kid friendly till 9pm then it's no under 18sWheelchair accessibility: There is a lift to get between floors. Only issue would be getting to spoons as it's on a rather steep hill

Food is delicious and budget-friendy. Nice pub which actually focusses on local history WITHOUT going overboard on William Wallace/Bannockburn etc. Friendly atmosphere and helpful staff, one of the few local places which isn't over-run with students/poseurs/pseudo-intellectuals.

actually still in the crossed peels, big mistake, all we wanted was ham and cheese panini, non existent ham and cheese, just a huge dry panini, lady serving lovely. Used to be good, not now. Give it a miss.

Very much the usual Wetherspoon good value. I had a pint of cider at £2.34 and was very tempted to try a curry - as on Thursdays you can get a curry and an alcoholic drink for under a tenner. In the end I passed on the food but the person on the next table had a curry that looked good value. It smelt appetising and I wished I'd had one. Two poppadums, rice and nan bread with the curry. There is outside seating on the upper level.

Called in for a snack and a drink. Fish and chips and ham, egg and chips were excellent. But, special thanks to Stephen the manager, who, although he was extremely busy, serving and cleaning made time to ask us if everything was OK and went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Thank you Stephen ?

only popped in for a quick drink on the way back from sightseeing. Quiet busy as this pub was on the route for the cycling world championships time trial. Nice atmosphere, no one overly drunk. Guy at bar was chatty.

The team were amazing when we were there during the cycle race in Stirling - the pub was bouncing and there were plenty of staff to cope - tables were cleared quickly and food & drinks also served quickly - team members were upbeat, friendly and efficient - food was hot & tasty - really enjoyed our visit.

After having a meeting in Stirling Innovation Park, I popped in for a quick drink while I was killing time. Really nice pub, clean and well positioned. Toilets weren't up to the normal Spoons standard - broken flush buttons - but very clean, which is what matters! Staff were excellent. Very friendly, smartly dressed and chatty. Even catered to my bizarre drink requests with no questions. They were surprised when I tipped as most people don't in a Spoons pub. But I believe you should as they work just as hard as other narrates. An absolutely lovely pub if you're in the area.

Average food Disappointed unfortunately both nights, we frequently use spoons on our travels, we were at your Carlisle one in July was nice hot food, we have spent 2 nights in Stirling first night with family mixed reviews regarding food, mainly the temperature, tonight it?s steak night , ordered on the app as we arrived mixed grill and steak, within ten mins our dinner arrived, strangely as I?m sure a steak takes slightly longer to cook, anyway it was cold so too was the sauce and the mixed grill complained and was re issued, not a great deal better I must admit, chips were obviously reheated the plates this time were roasted but sadly the meal wasn?t, your bar staff and waiting staff especially the duty manager were all extremely good but your chef/cook let you down.

Perfectly cooked medium rare steak Large , dark brown on outside , soft pink juicy inside and very flavoursome Served with fluffy baked potato - separate wrapped butter pats if required Mushroom tomato & jug of pepper sauce For £12 ish Where else can you get a great steak for this price Accompanied by a chilled bottle of Prosecco served in ice bucket with clean proper Prosecco flutes Wetherspoons certainly know how to run a business with extremely good price value, quality and speedy service Customer creates their own atmosphere, no frills & lack of music allows conversations to be heard, a welcome environment for all ages

Spent a Wednesday evening here. There are 2 bars on 2 different levels. We were in the downstairs bar and it was very quiet. The upstairs bar was a younger clientele and a bit more lively. Decent decor in the place and you can't argue with their value for money prices. Worth a visit if in Stirling Town centre.

Lovely food and drinks at reasonable prices, more staff obviously needed as they are run off their feet to keep up with orders, but are doing a great job with a smile for the customers.
