My husband and I spent a day at Dunnottar and planned to stop at another restaurant on the way back to Aberdeen, but it was closed. Honestly, I'm glad, because Molly's was delicious! The bread was to die for along with everything else, and everyone was so friendly. We never felt rushed, even though it was fairly busy at 1 PM on a Monday. If you enjoy coffee and an easy-going vibe, this is your place.

Popped in just a little too late for breakfast (again *sad face*) but settled in with some delicious cakes and tea. Only disappointment was that they had changed the cakes up from the day before (can?t remember what the one I?d had was called but omg). Anyway. This was our third visit there and the cakes did not disappoint once again. We had sat there watching the sea from a beautiful view point at a window table until we could order lunch which was only a 15 minute wait for the turn around from breakfast. My partner had the Croque Madame and I had the cheddar cheese & tomato chutney toastie. Both were absolutely devine. The bread was toasted to perfection; usually toasties anywhere else are either too limp or too ?burnt? to the point where they have no flavour. Molly?s were absolutely perfect. Deliciously mouth watering and full of flavour. Partner said the egg on his was cooked perfectly too. That wasn?t all either, they both came with a side salad and some nachos as well as coleslaw on mine. I have always been one to eat the side salad because I was raised as a kid who couldn?t leave the table until the plate was empty. Safe to say, this is the first salad I have ever enjoyed when out. So much so that I ate my partners one too. The rocket and other leafy greens were fresh and crisp. And the onions! I?m not sure what you did to them, like a sweet pickling of sorts, but wow! Honestly delicious and I would genuinely love to know how you got them to taste so great. I?m not a coleslaw fan but again how I was raised, I still ate some and was pleasantly surprised, it was yummy and full of flavour. I reluctantly let my partner eat that though as I did nab his salad. Food was genuinely beautiful and we can?t wait to come again when next in town. Service was great, always lovely friendly staff.

It's a small little but interesting cafe. Don't forget to shut the door when you enter because a male member of staff will shout at you.

My trip to Molly?a is absolutely amazing. As I walk in, the staff member made me feel welcomed and got to sit anywhere. When I order my lunch, got my within 5 minutes, but I?ve order hot chocolate with all of the toppings, Soup of the Day - Lentil and Basil soup, and Cheesecake of the Day - Lemon cheesecake with marmalade sauce and raspberry on top.You add salt and pepper if you want with your meal.Love Molly?s Café Bar. Should Recommend to come here. Amazing food aswellParking: Lots of spaces to park, there is not problems with parking right beside the sea

Molly's has undergone something of a transformation of late. Great food and service with a professional and warm atmosphere. If you haven't been there for a while, I would recommend another visit.

Such good value for money. So tasty and the staff were lovely. Definitely the best meal we had when at Stonehaven. Recommend a visit ?

Usually one of our favourite places in Stonehaven, but we were left disappointed today.Booked for 12.45 on a Sunday because we were looking for somewhere local to enjoy a good Sunday roast. Came and and saw the roast written up on the chalk board as normal, and the cafe wasn?t too busy. When one of the servers cane to take our order 10 minutes later, we asked for 2 roast dinners, to which to told us ?we don?t have any roast dinners left and won?t have for the next month.? At this point it was only 2 hours into lunch service and the Sunday roast was still written up on the specials board (it remained up there for the 3 hours we were in there). After we finished our meals we sat for over half an hour without anyone interacting with our table, despite the fact we were looking to order coffees and cocktails which would have added an extra £20 to our bill.We were there the day before also and had ordered coffees and waited half an hour for those also for them to never come?Disappointing.
