We dined here both nights when staying at Trump Turnberry and the food was absolutely excellent. Lovely flavour and on the second night the chef was able to change the risotto to my liking, which was very nice. The Only thing with the food was my soup on the first evening was lukewarm. However, we had a few problems with service. On the first evening, we didn?t receive any bread and butter and other tables did. Each night there was a good 30 minute wait between each course which wasn?t a problem for us as we enjoy a leisurely meal. However, for some people, it would maybe be an issue. We asked for our bill on the first night and after 10 minutes had not received it so just left as we know it would have gone to our room. We just wanted to check it over. On the second evening we received bread however, when on main courses someone on our table was still finishing the main course and we were asked are we finished. We said there is still one person eating, and our waitress continued to clear the two empty plates, leaving one person eating. With working in hospitality, that is a big no no and should not happen in such a restaurant. We paid the service charge each evening as the food was incredible, and most of the staff were very good and we have never asked for the service charge to be taken off any our bills when dining out.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had the displeasure of experiencing in a high-end restaurant. The food left a lot to be desired. the service was non-existent. we constantly found ourselves waiting for the next course 30mins+. There was 5 other tables so i know they were not too busy. the matching wine came 5 mins after the dish was served making us wait for it and allowing the food to go cold. I will not be coming back. Besides the fact that wine wasn't timed the pairing was terrible. It looked like the waitresses were bringing the bottles randomly.

We stayed for my nieces wedding on the 4th of May, from first arriving to the hotel to leaving it, we had a fantastic time! The staff could not do enough to help in every way possible, and so friendly and nice. They are a credit to the hotel! Meeting mr President, Donald Trump was unbelievable and such a nice man, and had time to come and shake our hand! So even know at this time, it was quite hectic with Mr Trump being there and wedding going on everyone was like swans! As I have worked in hospitality and Hotels so I know how hard it is, and everything runs smoothly and perfectly! As for the wedding, it was absolutely outstanding, compliments to the chef?s as all the food was excellent, could not fault it! the breakfast both mornings was delightful. The rooms was beautiful, comfortable beds are lovely and clean . Thank you to the door man. I?m sure his name is Gary, and Matthew ( from Yorkshire near where we live) for helping us to our room, reception staff went above, and beyond. The Spa was beautiful lovely and clean and my little boy loved the pool. Thank you all so much hopefully we will visit again

A wonderful experience, and the employees are outstanding. Kind, helpful, friendly and welcoming. A big shout out to Craig who works the concierge desk who went out of his way on three occasions to make our welcome (a mini guide of the estate), stay (organized horse riding), and departure (organizing a taxi) - all made wonderfully stress free. It?s a beautiful location and the experience is all the more wonderful because of those who work there.

called in today for a meal on the way back to Ireland. 2 plates of Spaghetti Bolognese - no meat. Sent it back and it came out with lumps of stewing meat in it - not a new dish but the old one. The waitress was brilliant but clearly embarrassed taking it back to the kitchen.

Had the worst lunch & dinner possible. Was overpriced considering the food didn't taste the freshest + reheated 2bh. Found out from a friend who works in the kitchen that most of the food is delivered frozen, even down to the potatoes. Explains alot! People are paying top dollar expecting excellence but are in fact eating frozen food precooked, never again!!

Trump really knows how to build a World Class Golf Resort! Trump Turnberry Alisa by far my most favorite course in Scotland! Shot an 89! Driver off the deck, roll on the fairways for miles. So different from the grass I?m used to at our home courses. Missed the namesake by only a few days. Fabulous food, accommodations, staff, golf, caddies (Kenny & Frank). Just the best!! ??????????????

Since buying Turnberry the Trump Organisation has invested heavily in both the hotel and the golf courses. From the moment you are welcomed through the door the hotel oozes class and no expense has been spared in creating an extremely luxurious hotel. Staff throughout the hotel are warm and friendly and cater for your every need. They are willing to go the extra mile to make sure that your stay is a memorable one. We did consider eating dinner in the 1906 restaurant but on looking at the menu the prices were exorbitant and well outwith our budget. Breakfast was excellent with an extensive choice of cold dishes and pastries. The Turnberry Hotel is right up there with the best Scotland has to offer.

We were at the resort to play in the Golf in Scotland pairs competition, everything was well organised and our experience was great from our arrival on Friday to us leaving on Saturday afternoon. The staff including the bar staff to the Golf starters were very good.

Specifically to play the two golf courses associated with the Turnberry Hotel which were great but the Hotel itself was fantastic .The staff could not be more polite and professional but the rooms and facilities were 5 star all the way. My friends and I have already booked to do the same in 2024

The lodges we stayed in are fantastic, we'll appointed and close to the golf courses, only problem is you have to walk or use a car to go to breakfast. The staff are excellent and very attentive to your needs and always on hand to help, very polite. Only reason for the three stars is the price, £24 for two coffee's and bacon rolls, everything is so expensive, I would recommend a stay but keep your wallet in the car.

The hotel is stunning On arrival you get greeted like a family member, and it's lovely to see friendly and familiar faces( Jim and Gary). The check in is smooth. Our room was clean and quiet. Good bathroom amenities. Breakfast is of excellent quality with a continental and extensive hot breakfast choice being available. Service is very good. We also ate at the 1906. Food is stunning and service impeccable. Sumith is an excellent sommelier and perfectly pairs the wine with the food.( thankyou also for the special sparkling bottle!) The Spa facilities are wonderful. What an amazing break.

We had a fantastic time- the hotel is impressive as ever, as is the welcome from Garry. It was two of us staying with our dog. Plenty of lovely walks for the dog and glad to have a great set up in the room for her so that we could leave her rest and enjoy our experience too. We went for dinner, drinks in the lounge, used the pool and relaxation suites and enjoyed the upgrade to the ocean view room. Granted there were some niggles, but the welcome and food were second to none. I am looking forward to booking again.
