Was here last Sunday night. Very nice pub/restaurant and the service was brilliant. I can recommend the steak! There was music on too, which was quality. Will definitely be back.

Really disappointing experience for dinner. Food really bland across all options and when telling the staff they couldn't care. Also first time one of my children has never even touched the meal as the chicken was so bad. The same chicken in the kids meals used to make my spicy noodles. Waited an hour between courses with no offer of apology or acknowledgement. Really like this place for breakfast but first time dining there. When I told the waitress I wouldn't rush back she said "alot of people say that!"Overall terrible experience and value.

Terrible experience. Waited one hour, still no food. 2 staff members who, 10 minutes apart, went to find out when our food would be arriving, never came back. ?Manager? smirked when she saw we had decided to leave. A 2 minute fire alarm was blamed for this, no one had to leave the restaurant but apparently all the ovens and pans had been switched off automatically and had to warm up again! No mention that we waited around 30 minutes before the alarm went off. Can?t say I?d return here. Ruined what was meant to be a Mother?s Day dinner. Went along to Bothwell and got excellent service and food in ?Cut?.Food & drinks: Can?t comment

Well ..blown over!Service by Jodie and other staff was impeccable. Food..large portions, beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Very busy restaurant and staff could not have been more accommodating nor polite.Room is warm, spotlessly clean, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Quiet in the room too.I'm so impressed with the Angels Hotel... I admit it's not what I was expecting.Management should be very proud of the staff they have... Attentive, polite, obviously hard working and smiley.Food & drinks: Food was lush! Large portions, beautifully presented and extremely tasty. ( ...And it's not often I give such praise!)

Family meal for 4. Food was delicious as always and there is a great choice of cocktails. We were waited on by Codi-Anne who was simply brilliant - really friendly and super efficient. Thanks for another lovely evening Angels.

Had heard good things about this place and was really looking forward to going for lunch, the restaurant is great and the waiters were great but the food on that day in my opinion was average, I went for the sirloin steak cooked M/W but it came more to the well done end of the spectrum but within parameters, although tasted nice it was bone dry, I was looking forward to this meal and I'm a good eater so when it was put down I frount of me sorry to say I was disappointed by the portion size, when you go for one of the most expensive dishes on the menu you'd think it would come with a bit more sides, for me there weren't enough chips or onion rings, I wasn't keen on the side salad with some kind of oil or dressing on it and would've preferred your usual rocket, red onion, lettuce type, had a coffee to finish and that was delicious, I doubt I'll ever order another steak dinner because of the cost I just wanted to try it and see how the other half live, I'm just a plain man with a simple big appetite so I'm not saying that your experience will be the same as mine this is just my personal evaluation of the food I had on that day.3 stars for Sirloin Steak DinnerThe wife had some kind of pasta dish and luckily I got half of her chips : )
