Google recommendations were " I went there for the garden centre" what GC there were two tables with some plants on. No ferns no Grasses pretty much just hebes and shrubs. They were dying off too where they were water logged from over watering. Only good thing is the checkout did reduce one the dying plants by 40% for me. Lucky 30% of the plant was alive and seemed to be doing OK. But as for this being called a garden centre is an embarrassment. It is a glorified Compost and plant pot centre with a side of shrubs

Great shop but staff not very helpful. And the stink of illegal drugs being smoked near door was awful.

Staff at counter talking there was big queue didn't bother them and this shop is always dirty floor shelfs a disgrace

It's one of those shops you go into out of curiosity but come out thinking, "It's too damn crowded in there. I couldn't browse properly for the narrow aisles."Stack 'em high policy doesn't work for me.

Not enough staff for the tills, no rhyme or reason to the layout of products - totally random. Outside is a tip with rubbish lying everywhere, and Xmas decorations on the shelves in august!! Stupidity at its best. Walked out leaving a trolley full of items.

I love the range and this was a big store. It's just a shame I didn't have more time or energy to look around more.

I don't normally review supermarkets or main stores but had to because of one thing.Whilst shopping at the Caledonian Retail Park (going in and out of Argos and the B&M nearby) I had to check out The Range to find drill bits. As soon as I walked in I was hit by what I can only describe as really bad body odour. The smell was clearly in the air as you looked around at other customers trying to make it obvious it wasn't you that was smelling so bad.The drill bits were at the back left and the smell was carrying right through from the front door to the back.Honestly would consider not going in again as that smell was horrendous.

Visited the Wishaw Branch on the 6/04/23Around 1925/1930.Quickly looked up and down the aisles as the closing time was 8pm .Visited outside too to find some stuff for the garden and pet section for the furry members of the family.Only reason I shop at this time, is for health reasons, plus my mum has had a stroke from heart failure and finds it challenging at busy times. We like to avoid the crowds... this was ideal, as there was a handful of customers and many staff. Was close to closing so expect the staff to be having a clean....Didn't expect to walk threw 4/5 piles of brushed up dirt and rubbish along the way.Came back from the garden center and went up to look at outside furniture in the back right corner of the store. Wasn't till I was half way round , I could feel myself sliding around the floor.Realised the floor was wet... no wet floor sign insight. Not only does my mum struggle with her memory, she also struggles with her balance.Continued on browsing near the till to them be approached at around 20:05 by what i can only presume was the manager with jangling keys round his neck."Stores shut! You need to leave!!" Then promptly swiveled round on foot and walked away...Quickly boosted the 200m to the till to be told"I'm really sorry guys, tills are off. That's us shut""So sorry!"Appreciated the fact we even had an apology at this point by the cashier. So, we had to leave without a basket full of items which was annoying, as we had spent the last 30 mins browsing and buying.Considering myself and mother had counted about 6+staff that evening, why did no- one announce us to even make our way to the till?Fair enough, if your annoucment system was broken, should the priority of the manager not be to make sure customers are even aware?I am, NOT, ever a person to complain.I understand everyone says that.... However being Told [Shops shut! Get out!] Is pretty shocking. And the attitude leaking from him was just uncomfortable. We love the Range! Visit often.Stay in Wishaw and would rather drive and visit London Rd Branch if staff are treating you this way.Better care, cleanliness and management is needed.
