Having moved to the area 3 years ago it's been fantastic having a local shop and post office within walking distance. The selection of items available are much more than you'd expect from a village shop, and the fresh pork pies are far too moorish! We've always been greeted with smiles and friendly conversation and always made to feel welcome into the village. Post office once again was a life saver! Grateful to have this service locally. Thanks.

Like several others I am at pains to write a poor review on such a small business - HOWEVER.It beggars belief how this business that has staff with such incredulously poor attitude and lack of customer service on is still in existence.Check out Market Drayton post office who really know the meaning of a friendly welcome and excellent customer service.Today I had the misfortune to HAVE to go inside as Parcelforce took my parcel there. Luckily my son was staying with us and he went in. Living in London he is used to some appalling behaviour and he came out stunned and fuming!!!!Parcelforce et Al shall be told NEVER to leave any mail of mine here again.

Terrible attitude in here, it?s seems that customers are a massive inconvenience as soon as they walk in the shop. Don?t understand why they?re in business?

I did not want to initially leave a review for such a small business during a difficult time, but today was the final straw. In my 12 years of living in this village I can honestly say I have never had a pleasant experience using this post office or any members of my family for that matter. The attitude of the staff is appauling and make you feel like a inconvenience when you go inside with a parcel. In fact a few years ago I chose to go out of my way 20 minutes to go elsewhere. However today I did not have time go to my usual so I decided to give it another try. Obviously I was greeted with attitude as I had a bag of parcels. These were pre paid and i just needed to drop off them off. This seemed to annoy the staff member and told me to leave them all spread out on the counter and she would sort it when she had time. No customers were in the shop, it was only me and she just stood at the till doing nothing. I really struggle to understand why they run this post office when they so clearly do not want your business the behaviour is ridiculous. I know of a fair few people in the village who think the same and hopefully one day they will change this attitude. I will never return.

Was greeted by the most miserable grumpy man I have ever experienced in a shop everAlthough I do not use this shop very often yesterday was the last time I ever set foot in that placeYou may not retire on a lottery ticket sale I agree but I think it?s about time you retired anyway with your attitude

Handy little post office that saves me the challenge of trying to get parked anywhere near the main one in Market Drayton and the staff are always friendly and helpful

Hinstock village post office has been around for many years and has had many owners come and go, the shop was quite close to where i used to live so i always used to use it. It is quite a large shop for a village, and they sell near enough everything, ranging from sweets, frozen foods, tinned food, drinks, alchol, greeting cards, pet food, newspapers, magazines etc. There is also a post office situated at the back, which is handy for the older people of the village, so if they can't drive the post office is easily for them to use, instead of going into town, from here you can send letters and parcels, draw out money from your bank, get insurance, really everything you can do at mainstream post offices. The shop is open from 8.00am to 6.00am every day except sundays when it close at 12.00am.
