Came in for a numberplate took 20 minutes for me to get served, then to tell me it takes 5 to 6 days to make a numberplate unbelievable

Liam, who I presume is the Manager of the Meole Brace, Shrewsbury store, gave me the most excellent customer service today. He advised me of both the free and Premium Halford's Motoring Club scheme, which I signed up for. His product knowledge was amazing. Jack, who fitted side and rear light bulbs for me, who also completed the health care check on my car, was also so helpful and courteous. I would thoroughly recommend this branch of Halfords. Booking on line was easy, but on arriving at store chap on the till couldn?t find booking and was seemingly unable or unwilling to accept I had booked and that perhaps his computer was wrong, or he was not looking in the right place. I had to show my phone confirmation and insist new blade be fitted. Young mechanic who then came was excellent, found right wiper blade (in a locker by the till with my name and fitting appointment on it) and fitted it in seconds, despite the pouring rain. Was chatty, polite, helpful and apologised for mixup and delay.

Went in for bike locks and thoery bike books but never had any in stock but staff was so helpful even called somewhere else for us to find out if in stock due to partner couldn't really drive far due to his back so didn't what pointless drive really helpful lovely staff

Not a regular visitor to Halfords but when I Need something- wiper blade, battery for the car etc, it?s available and they fit it straight away. Tom fitted battery for me today and was excellent all round.

They had the aerosol paint I needed in stock and the customer service was fine. I noticed the carpark spaces are quite narrow. Luckily I didn't have a large American pick-up truck or a supercar with me and I was in and out before my adjacent drivers were served. I would recommend them, especially at weekends when other motor factors are closed, to help out with tools and parts for cars and cycles.

I ordered a single item online to be picked up in store. I received a confirmation email advising that the item was ready to be picked up. I attended the store and the item was not in the pick up case. A staff member then had to go to the store shelf and retrieve the item.There was obviously a communication breakdown at some point in the Halford system. What is the point of ordering something online for pick up when it would be quicker to just attend the store and collect it from the shelf myself? What if there were no more items left on the shelf? This is not the first time this has happened at the Shrewsbury location. They need to get organised.

First time visit for new wiper blades and halogen headlights was served promptly and my fitting was carried out in a timely manner polite staff
