Great local range facility with plenty of space, a decent coffee shop on site and helpful staff. Only complaints would be that you can?t take your golf bag in (why?) and the balls need updating as I?m starting to find more and more cracks in mine when I visit.

Lured in by the big coffee cup sign but sadly the cafe is only open weekdays. Would be useful to have that at the entrance.

the only decent driving range for miles, and a nice café too .. the golf shop is equipped with launch monitor for accurate fittings and a club repair service

A nice looking golf shop with a great driving range at the back. The green at the back looks immaculate with nets sporadically positioned to test your skill. The upstairs cafe serves lovely local coffee and cakes and has lovely views over the countryside, worth a look.

It is was it says on the tin. Turn up and Whack!! ?. £8.50 for 100 balls when we went in Oct 2022. Sunday afternoon was really quiet, so plenty of time to allow my 12 year old grandson to get to grips with a club without being pushed for time . ?

Nice range, however very frustrating not being able to take your bag on to the range with you. I know this used to be common years ago but it?s the only range I have been to for along time where this isn?t allowed. I would genuinely go a lot more if I didn?t have to fumble around trying to carry 14 clubs. I?m not sure the reason why it?s not allowed ?..For the record it would be 5 Star if we could overcome the no bag on the range issue ?

Easy to get to, usually not too busy, never had to wait, fair prices. Just hope by leaving a good review it doesn't get too many people visiting.

Overall, the Shrewsbury Golf Driving Range is a good experience. To make improvements I would suggest that they have all heights of tees accessible for each bay, have more than 1 colour of ball so it is easier to track your ball in the air and make range balls cheaper for EGU card holders. The good points are that the bays have a good surface to hit off of. The bays also have a small black ball holder/feeder tray which is a nice addition. They have pitching nets, greens, pins and yardage markers downrange for you to aim at. The golf shop has a variety of good quality items and the staff are friendly. As of right now, 13/05/2022, the prices for balls (if you pay by card) are:35 for £360 for £5100 for £8.50It isn't too expensive but I do believe it should be cheaper to club members.

Went to the Tin Pot coffee bar, above the driving range. Lovely little place, nice sandwiches, and coffee was fantastic.
