I always loved shopping at Argos for electricals and other household items. Always a positive experience apart from the odd item not being in the best of shape, a lamp shade on that occasion. I don't know what's happened to this store I guess since Covid happened. The store feels empty and deserted. The first time I saw it, I thought is this store closing down!? There used to be a jewellery section in the store here that's all been packed away and just empty cupboards and shelves remain. The till area is empty, everyone's using the self service tills instead, or they've ordered online and are collecting an item. Lastly the collection point area is also a cold experience, customers just milling around or standing in groups, checking their phones, not knowing what to do with themselves whilst waiting to see if their item will appear from the cold and lifeless warehouse in the back of the store with only one member of staff going back and forth to collect each item and then calling out what the item is. The staff that are there in the store and there's only 2 or 3 I've seen on my visits. Usually 1 or 2 at the door and by the self service tills, assisting someone that's ordered an item online and the customer is showing their collection reference code or something to the staff member. No customer welcome, no staff to assist whilst in store, looking on the digital screens to find an item to purchase. No staff interaction when paying if using the shelf service, you have no choice most of the time no staff on the manned tills. A quick hello and goodbye when at the collection point area. That's the Argos experience in Telford. Very sad to see it like this now. Sadly I think sooner rather than later this store will be closed and transferred to a Sainsbury's like most have already done.

Meet and greet staff were continuously coughing and sniffling was not a good start.Placed an order via the terminal and received a confirmation receipt then headed to the collection point and waited 10mins. I could see my order on the shelf and it was showing as ready to collect but the staff were more interested in doing other things and ignored me.I would not return.

Horrible customer experience. Refund nightmareRefund refused due to dust on the lug and therefore marking in a non sellable condition. Aswell as making it a veryAnxious and stressful experience would not recommend at all. The Telford store and Argos

Tried to pre order new Samsung and waited days for update only to find out it was out of stock when rang! Happily took payment but no message to say not in stock! How can it be out of stock when you advertise it and take payment! Doesn?t take long for payment to be refunded! Shouldn?t have to wait around! They also don?t take new phone back! Or able to swap it!

Negative -Wanted to buy a mini fridge from Argos the one I wanted was available at this store is for straight away click and collect when I got to the last page it then popped up unavailable so not good on website it should of reserved it as I was buying it not good where let me thought it was available then on last page no longer available

In the past, I had worked for Argos, in their flagship store in Milton Keynes. I am happy to say that as a customer, that this store (Argos Telford) demonstrates exactly the level of customer service that all stores (Even the Flagship store in Milton Keynes) should follow.I have never had an issue purchasing items from this store, and have always been greeted by very friendly staff on the shop floor, at the tills, and even the collection point.Previously (from other stores) I experienced the problem of being sold customer returns, as well as items that had already been opened, and poorly re-sealed. I can safely say that this hasn?t once been an issue for me at Argos Telford.Argos Telford; you have set the bar high, and restored my faith and enjoyment in shopping at Argos.

Such a poor/racist customer service. Came to collect my order. Staff just ignored me while I waited to be attended to and they were attending to others that came after me. I called the attention of a member of staff who said have you given your code to the staff standing at the entrance I told him there is no sign telling one what to do moreover none of the staff approached me when I entered and I can clearly see they were approaching others. You clearly haven?t been training your staff properly nor put up the right signs to guide customer. I have been an argos customer for a long time. All of the argos shop I have been to, you go to the till and get attended to, but in this shop you modified you procedures without properly guiding your customers.

Very helpful staff, not too long of a wait.Only issue i have ever had is with parking... each customer gets 3 hrs parking so over the Christmas and other busy periods please bare this in mind!The store is clean and tidy and has helpful staff.Thanks all at argos telford

Shopped here on Saturday. Very impressed with the help I got when trying to locate 3 items. Unfortunately the items were not in stock at Telford but Ryan helped to reserve them at Market Drayton. Always a pleasure to shop at Argos. Staff are always helpful.

I bought a aur fryer Tefal two weeks ago from Argos, today it doesn't start, the people from Argos refuse to take it back because they can't find the receipt. Can't I check the series? I paid Cash £200. Shame on you Argos
