no paying in desk - I was told you cannot pay in with a cash machine so the only way to pay in is at the post office!. 3 staff standing around talking so doing what exactly - why not have 1 on the till. its an absolute joke! And don't get me started on the Shrewsbury branch - they basically have a man with a clip board saying can't help, won't help!!!!1

The main HSBC branch in Telford and you don't have a cash desk?! It's a joke. What am I supposed to do now?! Drive to Shrewsbury or Wolvo? I will just swap banks.They only redeeming factor for this branch is the staff are absolutely lovely, brilliant staff.

What a bank that closes it's only cashier desk !!! A faceless bank that doesn't care about its customers, business or personal, who actually take cash. Appalling customer care. Closed all other branches and can't maintain a single cashier. A penny pinching bank, more worried about appeasing China, than looking after Hong Kong refugees. Sod your machines!! I am going to close my dealings with you.

My wife and I have been HSBC customers for more than 40 years - mortgages, loans, investments savings, business and personal accounts - but for the last 11 months we've had a very frustrating time attempting to resolve an issue through call centres and via emails without success. In desperation we decided to try face to face contact with another human being. Our own branch was closed (Covid) so we visited Telford Town Centre where we were introduced to a charming, patient and pragmatic lady called Helen. She listened sympathetically as I droned on about the expérience, asked some questions, went through the files, evaluated the situation and very quickly resolved it to our complete satisfaction, restoring our faith in HSBC. A big thank you to this lady for your 5 star service. We can thoroughly recommend human beings over algorithms every time.

I did an operation with this bank at the TElford branch and due to their mistake (they charged the client ? 500 more) they do not pay me what belongs to me because according to them I have to first send the client what they have charged of more and later they pay me the amount. I don't understand the problem has been generated by the Bank. They do not answer me in the emails.

Terrible. I received a call from HSBS Telford concerning an account. I tried calling this number from the web site and ended up with a call centre in India. They were useless and I still do not know why HSBC Telford was trying to contact me

I checked their opening hours for Telford branch online which showed as 9am to 7pm on Thursday 3rd July 2014, but when I rushed to the Branch at 6.30pm it was already closed, no opening hours were displayed even on the closed shutters !!!
Very bad experience indeed.
