The receptionists are really poor, aggressive and unhelpful. it?s very very difficult to get an appointment and actually seeing a doctor is impossible. Even the message when you phone them is difficult to hear, lengthy and very negative in tone and content. The surgery is held in such low esteem by local people yet those running it seem oblivious to their dreadful reputation for poor service. I can say that the nurses are pleasant, efficient and engaged when you actually see them. Some of the doctors are fine.

Rude reception lady on the phone. I hope she loses her job to be honest. Talking down to people. Get off your high horse and do your job as a receptionist and just arrange a call or an appointment. It's not hard.

The doctors, when you eventually get to see one, are very good. However, today I, along with other patients, witnessed the rude and arrogant receptionist sending two worried people on their way. One was grudgingly offered a call with the doctor later today after a lot of calm reasoning from the chap who would not take no for an answer. The other was sent away and having to contact the hospital who had told her to go to the GP in the first place. This was all done in full earshot of everyone waiting..including personal medical details! Shocking!

Really disappointed this morning with the attitude of the receptionist. Mental health issues or low mood should not be taken lightly and to be spoken to without any sort of understanding by an obnoxious woman is not acceptable. I will be making an official complaint. How on earth is this inconsiderate woman on the rnd of a receptionist phone

I have had the misfortune of dealing with at least 3 different doctors here; each of them more indifferent and unhelpful than the last. The receptionist treats people in such a callous manner it is literally enough to make you weep. Seriously, if you can avoid this place I would strongly advise you to do so. The one star is for the nurses, who are fabulous.

What a Awful experience it is to go cheddar medical, I myself personally have felt let down by them; I needed to see a doctor urgently and they refused because I had just left the armed forces and I needed to wait for my documents from the mod to transfer over. So I had to endure the pain for 2.5 weeks, I thought about writing about this before but I thought nothing of it, it?s just the ?systems? fault but however now a relative of mine desperately needed there prescription and requested to see a doctor and they refused and won?t see them for another 2 months and only over the phone. I think this is absolutely outrageous. Prior to this I have now move to wedmore and axbridge doctors they are much nicer and pleasant I would fully recommend moving over.

Called up, receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Was told I could only have a call back appointment when I asked for an appointment in person. Told them how bad it was and then was told I could have an appointment in 4 weeks. Shocking

I am really sorry to say that, as I have had difficulties with my mental health, listening to the ten minutes or so of dour information about everything you can possibly do to avoid going to the Doctor's literally made me want to hurt myself.

The care I've received at Cheddar Medical Centre recently has been second to none. The nurse is excellent, and the doctors are caring and thorough. Considering the pressure the NHS is under their service is first class.

I can only speak on the Service I have received since joining this Surgery, and Naomi has been very professional and understanding during the numerous blood samples I have had to provide, taking into account that I don?t like needles. Keep up the good work.
