Awful don't know what their doing or selling. Only went in to ask what speakers will fit our car and if they can install them for us. No not this store, they don't fit speakers but they sell speakers? How can a car company that installs and does MOTs ect not sell or know anything about speakers yet they sell them? Pathetic .

Great and quick service. Booked online to have my battery changed and turned up the next day, it was done within about fifteen minutes. Always a go to whenever I need items for the car, friendly and helpful staff too

I bought a Pioneer stereo 14 months ago from Halfords and returned today because the screen was white with lines down it. After a few checks, a viewing of my e-invoice, the head unit was replaced and installed. Very quick, no problems. Very happy.Thank you to Halfords in Frome.

I used the in store parts identifier to find the correct wiper for my ?09 Ford Focus CC3, bought the Halfords own brand part, it did not fit. They did however promptly exchange the incorrect part for the correct Bosch item, which fitted perfectly, but I had to pay £3 more. Excellent service with a smile from Kirsty. 5 stars ?

Casey helped us in Frome store today. She did a 10 point check on my car. She was absolutely delightful, expertly checked tyre pressures and all other necessary things. Casey had a lovely calm manner and it was an absolute pleasure to spend a few moments with. Will be back and hope to see her again then!

For once the attendent was very helpful and knowledgeable (normally it feels like my request is just being processed). He kindly offered to sign me up on the programme and for this I would receive £5 off my purchase. What he failed to tell me was that the fitting service (which I had always understood to be part of the service) actually had a fee attached .. a whole £12.50 to put on a set of windscreen wipers! Had I known there would be such a sugnificant charge I would have worked out how to do it myself. I only just noticed this now on the receipt they emailed me. So, I'm not £5.00 better off .. actually they are up £7.50. Going from feeling pleased with the service to feeling rather ripped off!!

Been going here for over 20 years, always helpful and price matched an online Halford price. Wouldn't trust them to change a bulb as know people that have had bad experiences but shop sales is good

Bought a bike on Sat 9/9/23 from a really helpful young guy. He made the purchase so easy, but his boss very nearly lost the sale under his nose with his rudeness. He made the appointment to pick up the bike 6 days later and I was ordered not to be even a minute late or I'd lose the slot. Took extra time off work to be on time. The bike wasn't built when we arrived. I'd have to wait for them to START building it, but I'd then be running late for work so we couldn't wait. So, we drove 40 miles. I missed work deadlines, To be told to come back the next day. That will now mean delaying a family trip to Wales, driving 40 miles AGAIN, and storing the bike with friends til we can pick it up. Who the hell leaves a bike build for the hour of collection?! I'd love to have cancelled my order, but why should I end up empty-handed after all our efforts and expense?!
