Formerly known as the White Lion Public House, this 16th -century pub was re-christened the Old Pound Inn in 1980, named after the old village animal pound that occupied the site before it became a pub. We have a good selection of West Country beers that are pulled from the sprung stillage in our cellar, an open Dutch fire at the centre of the bar, a lounge area and snug, as well as a 44-seat restaurant serving good honest food daily. We are of course a dog-friendly place for well-behaved pooches with snacks available for your fur friends.
