Gurney Slade“Well I think that as far as village shops go this one is great. Prices are more competitive than a lot of village stores and there is a good selection of foods, drinks, alcohol, freshly baked bread and rolls as well as packaged breads etc. You can get hot food and drinks. It's a newsagent Not and a post office and is open 7 days a week from early until 10pm. You can get up to £50 cashback at the till or use the post office in there opening hours or outside is a cash point but recently they have started taking a charge for using it. All the staff have always been friendly and helpful and as I struggle to get around have often asked if they cod help me. Yes like a lot of shops sometimes there may be a queue at the till but compared to major supermarkets tills I have never waited long. They help you to pack your purchases were needed and I could not fault this lovely neighbourhood store.”

“We have a small business with no letter box. Which means that during this period we have to rely on collecting our mail from the Radstock delivery office.I would like to give the staff a big thank you for their first class service and help at this time.”

“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This shop is amazing for little bits you don't want to go to the big stores for. You're greeted very politely and the staff are always happy to help. My 3 year old son loves the fact the magazines are at his height ? not so good for my wallet though. Highly recommended and it has a post office too ?”
