Beautiful, almost hidden gem of a place. My only concern was that my 2 year old daughter has no concept of water safety and there were no lifeguards on duty.

Attractive historic gardens are a delight to view, even on a wet winters day. Check what days the gardens are open before coming. There is an admission charge to enter the gardens. Tickets can be bought from the cafe which serves hot and cold beverages and delicious cakes.

A really beautiful garden with picturesque viaduct and water features. Autumn is definitely a great time to visit - we had such fun doing the Halloween trail and feeding the ducks under the red leaves.Carl at the shed was very helpful and personable, which made a big positive impact on our experience. Tasty pumpkin spiced latte and we got in with the Gardeners World 2 for 1 card so got value for money!

Beautiful gardens to walk around but quite pricy for what it is and the cafe wasn't open when we visited so only the hot drinks stand

Am a member of the RHS so was able to go here on a Wed or Thursday as a partner garden for free, & my husband is an OAP so was at a reduced price. Gardens were very enjoyable, well looked after and interesting.Sadly the cafe was closed, apparently for refurbishment, although I could see no sign of any work being done. The only refreshment available was from a mobile hut, the coffee was tepid & disappointing and the only cake was pre-wrapped fingers of assort flapjack/biscuits. Don?t bother with it.

Small but lovely and unusual gardens. The backdrop of an old viaduct makes for great photo opportunities. Small waterways weave in amongst the planting and flow into a large lake with many bird species pottering around.During August, it has a popup café that is selling really good coffee and a tasty range of cakes.

The most immaculately kept gardens. A delight to walk around. Well worth the visit.
