“A small convenience store with an average selection. It has all the basics like newspapers and milk and bread and snacks, and alcohol if you want it. The prices can be a bit steep on some items (particularly the sweets which I can only presume are meant for the schoolchildren crowd), but it is not more than you would expect from a small newsagents. The staff are friendly and the service is rapid.”

“I always eat in this cafe after shopping. The food is cooked on the premises and is good value for money, much better in my opinion than Waitrose or Morrisons. The menu changes with the seasons. I highly recommend it.”

“Lovely little shop with essentials. They often have cheap items on sale for clearance which can come in handy yet it’s usually because they are out of date. Ellen is a very friendly staff member i often have acquaintances with. She’s informative and welcoming, really deserves a pay rise!!”
