I took a working bulb in to get an energy efficient alternative today. The clerk accidentally smashed my only working bulb, didn't replace it and then sold me a very expensive LED bulb that doesn't work. Worse than useless.

2 days ago I took a pair of wellies back to screwfix Glastonbury under the warranty that still had 2 months to run to be told the warranty was no longer valid because they split with ware and tear and when I tried to explain to the manager and his little sidekick i only used them when it rained to take my dog for his walk in a field they didn't want to know and were so rude .So what I want to know is what is the point in a warranty in the first place so be warned

Disgusting customer service! Gentleman in his forties refused to answer questions I had, he kept repeating TABLETS at me and grinning. Refusing to answer a single question with his arms folded ... doing nothing. I only asked if you were likely to have an item on 'The Tablets' to save myself time. Why are these people employed? How rude and what a disgrace to Screwfix - a company this man didn't build, so doesn't have the right to run into the ground.

This branch of Screwfix, located behind the Premier Inn, is very friendly and helpful. The staff members who were working today took time to help me with my order and items. The store was clean, well lit and observed the current COVID guidance. There was still a catalogue to look through which could be considered an infectious point though.

Ordered on line, shortly after received text confirming the order was ready. Arrived at store, good covid distancing and collection was quick. Everything was in stock, a very easy transaction. Plenty of easy parking right outside the store and very helpfull staff .
