Very disappointed with this branch. I am disabled so struggle to stand. I asked the three members of staff who were stood chatting if they could assist me with a chair or stool for me to sit on whilst I browsed to purchase.They said no and went back to chatting with each other as that was clearly more important to them than someone wanting to spend money in their store.

Loads of things but don't trust the reviews here as it's only possible to leave a review in the first seven days after purchase, aka when everyone's more likely to be happy with it because any faults or quality issues have yet to manifest! A very shady move on behalf of Argos if you ask me. If your going to buy here at least see if you can find reviews of the item on Amazon etc. First

Disgusting! My sister bought a £800 fridge freezer from Argos 3 months ago. They promised to deliver it today and told her in advance to clean the old fridge-freezer as they will deliver it between 12-3PM. Texted her 6 times that she will deliver it today, when it went past 3PM and noticed she wasn't getting any messages she called them at 6PM just for them to tell her that she won't receive her fridge that she paid for until next Friday (It's Saturday today). My sister started crying and the call handler said it's fine, you'll get it by Friday. Absolutely appalling!

The store had what I needed which was good. Also the store now has no accessible parking. So you have to carry large items through town. As mentioned the rear parking needs to be reopened,I purchased a large bin and a coffee machine. I asked could I collected from the back, hesitantly they said I could collect only the bin from the back and not the coffee machine (?). I had to carry a large box through town to where I had parked then back to collect my bin.

I don't understand why they closed the back of the store, and the free parking (which was always busy) when the main store is like a ghost town but generally has 3 or 4 people doing nothing.I can only assume they're waiting for the lease to be up because there's no way this store makes money, except as maybe a warehouse for hankridge.Why would I pay to park in town and walk over when I could order online or buy elsewhere with free parking?

I went into this store to exchange an item without a receipt. The staff were unfriendly. The store policy is to exchange an item if the item hadn't been worn ( I wore for approx 10 mins). They wouldn't exchange as the accused me of lying. But if I could find the receipt they could, even though they couldn't resale item.

Spent £200 on a Lego set that Iv been wanting for a while, the older lady at the till then proceeded to say how much I was spending was a little silly for Lego as I?m an adult and mocking the age of some people that buy Lego, the box was damaged and obviously taped back up which annoyed me even more. I suggest you train your staff more! Even the ones you think have respect for paying customers.
