This is a great book shop, When I was told the wife had dementia, I went there to see what books they had on the condition and what I needed to do as a carer. I came away with two very good books that have been more help than both the Alzheimer's society and Dementia people who I have has contact with, so I can recommended Waterstones not only for reference books but for a good read when it comes to fiction

I can't help but go into Waterstones when I'm in Taunton. The selection of books is good and staff are always friendly and willing to help.

All the assistants were absolutely amazing, so knowledgeable about all the books. Actually phoned someone else to get the best recommendation for a bit of light reading about the history of Germany. Laughed more than I have done in any other bookshop to date.Definitely go back to this branch to buy books, would travel to Taunton for these people - 45 minute drive - just because their customer service was that good.
