Good reviews didn't lie! What a wonderful garage. Had an issue with a flat battery so called up to ask for some help. Had my wife and 6 month old with me. No less than 10 minutes later Steve was there, another 10 minutes we were back up and running for a very nominal call out fee. He even took time to give me some advice which was very much appreciated.I don't live in Taunton, but if I did I would absolutely be supporting Willford Garage and Steve with my business.Thanks Steve, you helped us out of a potentially difficult, expensive situation.

I cannot recommend Steve at Wilford Garage highly enough, the service, advice and value for money is second to none. I would never take my vehicles anywhere else and totally trust that the work is of the highest standard. I had a brake fluid light come up over the weekend. Despite it being a busy Saturday, Steve kindly fit me in and was able to sort this for me. He did a thorough job of checking it over and reassured me greatly. I'd recommend Willford Garage and would definitely use their services again. Thank you!

Despite it being the Saturday AM of the Bank Holiday weekend and after closing time, Steve agreed to take my misfiring car in having been recovered from the A303. He organised parts prior to my arrival and got me back on the road at a very reasonable price, delivering the car to me to save taxi costs - a true gent! Thanks Steve.

Steve of Willford is my actual knight in shining armour. My car had broken down and I was stuck in the middle of the road with multiple cars passing me. Thank goodness Steve stopped and offered to help me out. Well, he went above and beyond, getting my car to his yard and keeping it safe for me and then fixing the broken gears very successfully. He was extremely fair with what he charged and I now have a working car. In a world of uncertainty, I feel very strongly that Steve is one of the good guys and someone to trust with your car.

Was passed Willford Garage's details by RescueMyCar when I had an electrical fault. It wasn't a breakdown, but a fault that prevented my rear screen wiper and wash from working - inconvenient at best, and hazardous at worst when driving on the motorway with high levels of muddy spray.Although Steve, and the garage, aren't contracted with RescueMyCar (and without implying any criticism of RescueMyCar, who I have good experience of using) he was courteous and helpful, giving advice that made sense and confirmed the thoughts I had about the cause of the problem. An effect of the problem was a bulb in the rear-luggage-compartment that was always-on, and so was overheating. Following his advice, given clearly and accurately, I popped out the bulb (being careful not to burn my fingers).The likely cause is a faulty switch in the tailgate, which although suspected, Steve independently saw as the cause of the rear washer and wiper not working.I'm now out of Somerset, and will hopefully be able to get a local garage to check the car tomorrow morning, a Monday morning.Thanks Steve, especially as I called on a Sunday lunchtime.If I need help in future, and I'm in the Taunton (UK) area, I'll drop by at Willford Garage.Thanks again Steve.Service: Electrical

Fantastic service from Steve at Willford Garage. Our car was making a horrendous grinding noise when braking on the way back from a holiday in Devon late afternoon on a Friday. Quick bit of Googling, came across Steve?s garage and called. He was extremely helpful even though he had finished for the night. We had the car towed to his garage and left there, he was working on it early Saturday and even then drove our car back to us at our emergency hotel in Bridgwater. We really, really appreciated it, particularly as we had our one year old with us and a car full of camping gear. He?d discovered a piece of metal wedged into the brake pad, which had wrecked the disc. Professional, friendly, efficient service and value for money/fair price to replace. I would highly recommend Steve!

Steve has been my go to mechanic ever since I was a teenager and provided me with my first car. Nothing is to much trouble and always provides an excellent prompt service at a fair price.Steve is honest and has a great deal of knowledge and experience.
