“A proper pub, serving proper cider and ale with an open fire. Where the proper characters with their eccentric dogs welcome you with a smile! If you're after music, TV's, people welded to their mobile phones whilst ignoring each other?.....Wedmore is a mile down the road and there are several other drinking establishments ready for your money ? On the money front though, the Trotter is cash only, make sure you take enough, and I don't mean their prices though, which are extremely reasonable, I mean that it's quite difficult to leave the pub without having another quick 'half' by the fire!”
