Staying before an early morning flight. Rooms are great, clean and very well decorated. Pub has a great atmosphere.Staff are fantastic! Lois, Emma and Georgia were great hosts before our friends stag, this place made the start of the holiday great! We will be back!

Food was poor at best worse fish n chips I ever had .cramped seating and very noisy due to overcrowding. 6 people on a 4 seat tablePricy food that I don't mind paying but it's poor quality frozen meals.We will never go there again.

Attended the wake of a beloved friend. Some of our party had also stayed overnight.Staff were courteous throughout. The food was excellent, catering for 50+ guests in one go.What I like most is the ceilings were built in an age when people were only 4ft tall so I bumped my head occasionally in doorways but felt much bigger than usual.

Stayed overnight 11.3.23, prior to holiday. Brilliant location, very friendly staff and welcome, beautiful rooms done out in a lovely style. Food was good. Will definitely stay there again.

We visited the pub for NYE and the food was fantastic. The quality of pub food around is not very good but this place was fantastic. The food was cooked to perfection with friendly staff to go with it. Can't recommend

Amy, Alex and the rest of the staff were fantastic, super helpful to the point of excellence. The food was the most amazing, tasty, well presented, succulent and plentiful I have ever tasted. The incredible bonus was that the dog could come in and sit with us! A perfect location, perfect food, perfect staff. A must revisit in store.

I absolutely loved my Sunday roast but my girlfriend golden beet pie literally had none in and she was very disappointed the manager refunded her completely and said he can't help what he is supplied with from companies. Understandable. So I left the staff half of the refund and can't wait to go there again. No golden beet pie next time

Unimprovable! Love it when a pub does pub well. Stuck near airport and made the walk here - road unforgiving. Pub full of locals in a clearly well loved place. Amy and the rest of the staff were really welcoming. Genius idea 'frickles' and polenta chips then massively good pub grub to choose from . Outstanding. Amy gave us a lift herself so we didn't have to brave the walk back. Goodwill all round. No chance we won't be bàck and we live 100 miles away.

Popped in for a meal and wasn?t sure what it would be like. Absolutely delicious pie and chips! One of the best pies I have had in a pub. Friendly staff too.
