Have been coming here for years. The staff always look after you even at the very busy times. Special mention for Caitlin but they are all a great bunch to deal with now being expertly led by Sam.

Visiting family, so great location for us and some wonderful walks. Dog friendly, lovely big room with plenty of space and storage, great size bathroom. Great quality food and friendly service. Would highly recommend ? thank youNoteworthy details: Dogs are welcome and small charge for staying overnight, fantastic as we have 2 dogs. Room was very clean and you wouldn't tell dogs had been in the room

I?ve been going to this pub for years as a start and end to some good localwalks and love it on the whole, good food and staff but the recent mercenary price hikes on the food and drinks are off putting. £6.20 for a pint of standard Thatchers cider is the most I?ve paid outside of London. That and the hidden service charge made my bill just under £20 for 2 pints and a cup of chips. Check your bill.

Great food but at £7.20 for a pint of beer, you may as well order tap water. Have paid less at the airport for a beer. Absolute JOKES... Not
