“One of the best charity shops in the area. Arty displays that put this little shop a class above the rest. Brilliant quality clothing at great prices and a genuine treasure trove for homeware, the staff are incredibly friendly and will go above and beyond to help you out. I particularly love browsing their little vintage section! Be aware this shop is very, very popular for donations (free parking outside) and with coronavirus, they are only able to accept donations by prior appointment until the Government’s guidelines on quarantining goods for retail businesses are relaxed. Therefore you will need to call the shop in advance to book an appointment to drop off your donations, or they will only be able to take your donations on the day if they have had cancellations. When we called to arrange a donation, they were fully booked until the following week, so just be aware you’re taking a gamble if you don’t book first. Barnardo’s is definitely worth donating to. It’s a great charity which does some brilliant work with children and young people and this is one of the few charity shops I donate to now because I know the staff will appreciate the items my family and I have donated. Our items have always been respectfully priced to help raise money for the charity. I hope this little gem stays around for years to come.”
