Great visit. Friendly staff. Plenty to see. Superb for kids with lots of great, fun, innovative play areas that will keep them occupied, never mind all the animals! Reasonably priced. Great variety of sheep and a young foal too. Mammal house. Meerkat. Reptile house. Fish, frogs, guinea pigs, porcupines. There are also squirrels in the red squirrel enclosure, bit they didn't show on the dull day that I visited. You get a stamp, so if you exit, you can go back in. Best part... the leafcutter ants! I can watch ants and spuders for hours. These busy little critters hoik their sails of green leaf and walk on trails over your head. They're fab to watch. All animal inhabitants looked well cared for, in clean enclosures.

Was lovely to visit from my perspective is a bit expensive for one time visit compared to other places where they giving anual acces for a similar price.. We haven't got the book to stamp in it and my 9 years old was so disappointed seeing other kids doing it... But we did enjoy the animal races, mammal house and aquariums...tickets are cheaper if you book online

I follow the farm on FB from South Africa, so a visit while staying with relatives in Bradford was a must. Visited in mid-December on a rainy day, so not so much going on outside, but we still went on the tractor- trailer ride. Farmer Darrell managed to give a good commentary even though there were no animals in the field!Enjoyed all the animal barns, small mammal house and reptile house and especially the shire horses in the sand paddocks. While we were there the vet was scanning sheep for pregnancy and the Swiss Valais sheep were being sheared which added extra interest. The farmyard itself was more compact than I had expected, making it easy to see everything, but there is quite a walk back up the hill to the entrance if you are unfit. Farmers Rob and Dave were around and happy to chat.Had lunch in the White Bull. Had a short wait for a table but the food was very good and then we browsed round the farm shop and bought a few things. That made a full day out for three oldies. Did I enjoy it? Was it value for money? Would I visit again? A definite Yes to all three.

This is a fantastic place to visit. Everyone is so friendly. The food is great and reasonably priced. There is lots to do and see for adults and children alike. The farmers are happy to chat about the animals and nothing is too much. It is a working farm so what you see is what you get.
