“A gorgeous old place, lovingly maintained, and open to inquisitive visitors every Wednesday morning. The great Tom Emmett, Yorkshire and England fast bowler, was christened here.”

“This is a beautiful church tucked away at the he back of Darfield village. The grounds are wonderful with wild flowers growing on the slopes of the grave yard. There are many older grave stone's here and they are in good condition compared to other churches I have seen. When I first found this church the vicar and some of the local parishioners were having a barbecue and I was warmly welcomed. So if your lucky, you may get a burger or two!”
