I have been a frequent customer at this store since moving to the local area. There was an occasion when I was stood outside with two of my friends dogs whilst she went inside and I was told by a staff member to bring them into the shop and not to stand outside in future (which I was shocked but pleasantly surprised at). I recently got a puppy and on my first time taking her with me I went out of my way to ask if it was definitely OK to bring her in, I was again told that this was no problem. I attended the store today and another dog was with its owner at the check out . I usually carry my pup around the shop however put down her on the floor whilst I retrieved my cards out of my pockets. My pup became scared and yelped and the other dog then barked back (the other dog was muzzled and was larger which I think led to the scare however there was no aggression by either dog). I apologised and the lady serving me replied ?that?s why we don?t allow dogs in? (which I would have previously been in complete agreement with). She was very rude when serving me and spoke to me like rubbish in front of other customers. 1) all people working there need to come to the same agreement re: dogs being allowed in store, or at least should not go out of their way to ask someone to bring their dog in 2) if dogs aren?t allowed in store, why should mine be left out in the rain whilst another can visibly be seen stood with its owner at the checkout being served by the same woman 3) I apologised, there was none of that from the other dog owner, yet I seemed to be the one that caught the brunt of it all.I am in complete agreement with what the lady said however felt that how this was handled was unnecessary and was embarrassed to be spoken to the way I was in front of other customers. I do not in returning as I do not want to be served by this woman again in the future - if for any reason I do attend I will be sure not to bring my dog.

I would just like to let people now how poor this store treats its customers I entered the store at 7.00am and I noticed they had Three Barrels Brandy Marked up at £19.29p but in the larger stores it is reduced to £13 so I just asked the women behind the counter if she could SCAN me a bottle to see if it was reduced to £13 or still at £19.29 the women told me I could not buy the bottle until 7.30 I replied saying I only want a price scan she refused again so if that's the case this store needs to lock up all its beers wines and spirts until 7.30 like they do with cigarettes but the thing is other stores sell alcohol 24 .7 so not sure why this store is different had I not been on my way to work I would have probably waited but its a daft rule for the sake of half an hr
