We have just had a brilliant babyshower for my daughter at the mercure Sheffield parkway. Fantastic food, beautiful room, and amazing help from all the staff .thankyou khaval for sorting the booking and all the staff on the day for making it a really special day .thankyou all so muchand we are alreadybooking again for Christmas!

Stayed for a night due to being in the city for a gig! The room itself was very dated, and whilst was fine for us just sleeping, did have a musty smell to it. The bathroom also had a very funky smell to it, which didn?t go away. The bed itself was rock hard and we both actually came away with back ache following the night sleep. Location was a bit bizarre as well being in the middle of a business estate. Overall probably wouldnt return but was okay for the price

Rooms lovely except right next to container yard which seemed to work all night, continually waking us up.Food portions - miniscule - big price.Average bottle of wine 4 times supermarket price.Advertised 24 HR room service, but kitchens closed at 9pm.Definitely won't be back

Firstly I want to thank the staff member at reception at our check in, he made us feel very welcome and made sure all the relevant paperwork for my wheelchair using wife was completed. We stayed in room 100 which was an accessible room on the first floor. It was spotlessly clean and nice crisp sheets on both beds. However the room itself is in need of an upgrade the furniture was very tired and we had to report the loose table. Also in this day and age we need power sockets by the bed not only to charge our devices up, but in my wife's case to power her medical equipment. I had to unplug the bedside lamp so I could power said equipment. We ate Dinner and Breakfast in the hotel, and this was all just about ok with no complaints really. We had 3 courses for a £22 deal for dinner and that was about what the food was worth tbh, gourmet it was not. I've had a similar standard of food at my local Wetherspoons, and if I had not taken part in the £22 deal the bill would have been in excess of £65 ! Breakfast was your usual buffet fair with both hot and cold selections available, my main concern with the hot food that most of it had been under the Hotplate lights for a while and the scrambled eggs and mushrooms were particularly dried out. I would suggest that if the hotel is particularly quiet then hot breakfasts are cooked to order ? We paid a total of just over £100 for the two of us Inc all our food so on paper it was not bad value, the location is in the middle of an industrial estate which seems to be the norm these days for a lot of the more recent hotels so you definitely need a vehicle to use this particular hotel. Would we stay there again ?? For a similar room rate then yes, however for a midweek or Saturday night rate then it would be a no.

Feels like middle of nowhere (aka rather isolated). Room was decent sized with a huge firm bed (perhaps too firm). Food - Main course was good but desert was very prepackaged (not good)

Tabish was being very helpful and friendly with our questions and requests. Reception at night acted quickly to the problem. My hairdryer was not working and called for assistance. They came right away with another one.

It was an amazing experience. Surroundings, nearby location etc were beautiful. Staff was good. Ambience was nice, food was good. Hospitality was great, especially that fellow Rohan was there to help all day round. All in all it was a good stay. Should be visited by more people, will surely recommend it to others. Room was nice and airy. Large bed which was very comfortable as were pillows. The shower had a built in seat and was nice and powerful. The whole hotel was clean. The breakfast offered a good selection of everything. Staff polite and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In particular, Rohan was very friendly, took a special liking to my daughter and made amazing meals for us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone hoping to stay at Sheffield.

The wifi is shocking, not great when you want to watch something on your laptop. No more biscuits anymore No more pad and pen Having stayed here a lot with work I just felt like I had to review purely because of the bad wifi. Positive note, very clean, reception and bar staff great and decent breakfast

The rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable with everything you need. The staff are very polite and attentive. The lounge area is spacious and comfortable and the dining area is bright, comfortable and never too busy. I stay at this hotel regularly and highly recommend it.

Stayed overnight, hotel was quiet decent as per price and the guy called Rohan was exceptional and took good care of all his customers. Peaceful in and outside the hotel. They have free parking and Morrison is down the corner. All in all loved it, Cheers xx
