I changed from weldricks due to shocking service, I'm so glad I chose pickfords because they are great, all the ladies are lovely & so polite. The most important thing is the waiting time, I've honestly only ever waited about 5 minutes .

After changing to Weldricks I can tell how terrible the service is at Pickfords. I order tablets at least a week in advance, weldricks always has them ready, pickfords NEVER had them ready. Even after I left it for 10 days. I had to wait at least 15 mins for them once being served. There is one woman who is extremely rude. Told me she didn't have 1 of my tablets, argued with me for 10 mins then found it on the tracker. Told another pharmacist to apologise to me. She has no customer service skills and needs to be talked to by management! Pickfords needs to sort itself out before everyone moves elsewhere.

Tried to get an emergency prescription antibiotics not wasn't available at our normal pharmacy for my son. Rang them enroute and arrived at 5 minutes to 6pm to find the staff in the waiting area with the computers off and the lights off. They refused to serve me even though they don't close untill 6pm. Resulted in an emergency out of hours GP appointment to change the medication to one available elsewhere. Their laziness could have caused my son to go into sepsis. Disgusting

I had many issues with my prescription being sent from my GP in Cardiff, as an emergency. The GP had not provided the correct form for the pharmacist to dispense the medications.However, the locum pharmacist and Carolyn both took the initiative to resolve the issue, along with a local GP practice, and took the time to ensure that my medications were given to me when I urgently needed them.Both did so with kindness and care, whilst also supporting other patients/customers.Thank you both very much for ensuring that my medicines were dispensed and resolving an issue created by a GP practice in another part of the country.

Never known a pharmacy so disorganised. When you go in you have to wait ages to be served, they rarely have anything in stock. One item which I knew would need to be ordered for my child was ordered, I then received a text message to come collect it as it had arrived. I went it only to be told it was never ordered so they weren?t sure why I got the message. I had to get Sheffield Children's hospital to do an emergency order for me so my child didn?t go without only for pickfords to ring me two weeks later asking why I haven?t been in to collect the prescription! Absolute shambles, so I?ve changed pharmacies now.

TOTAL SHAMBLES OF A PLACE !!!We have had nothing but constant prescription problems since Mr McGill left the chemist, and Pickford took over.Wrong medication issued, wrong strength medication sent, missing items, prescriptions not been delivered, prescriptions not on time, blaming the doctors surgery, blaming new computer systems we have heard every excuse in the book. This is not good practice when they are messing with peoples life saving medication (both my 76 year old parents need life saving drugs !)They employ arrogant staff (except Sheila who has been a lifesaver over the years) in the end we had enough and moved 2 months ago to Weldricks on Crookesbroom lane (they have been nothing short of amazing ) after a lot of threatening to leave, I only wish we had done it sooner.I know we are not the only ones who have had problems and I struggle to see how they get away with it??.my advice to anyone having problems is it will get worse not better, get yourselves moved to elsewhere and save yourself the heartache and upset we have encountered from these so called experts !!If I could leave zero stars I would do but it won?t allow it !

Hopeless. Nearly four pounds for delivery so we opt to collect. 'Yes your meds will be ready Friday'. No meds on Friday morning. 'Call back in twenty minutes'. No meds ready. Eventually after numerous calls they are eventually ready late afternoon. So many excuses for shambolic service including 'one of the assistants has just walked out on us'. Would you really say that to a customer even if it was true? Sacked them off and went to Wheldricks. I expect this branch of Pickfords to be closed down anytime soon.
