We've never used Hays before but we certainly will from now on.They take care of everything.boarding passes printed off and all the information you require supplied.Great staff also

We've booked our last few holiday through hays in Doncaster but this time was a joke,they booked us a holiday but didn't tell us the reviews was really bad,it was getting closer to our holiday and we hadn't even got a phone call to take our passports in so we just went in to hays,then they said we will ring you to come in for the rest of your stuff but still didn't receive a call again,then they said we have 23kg of luggage and we didn't check as you trust what they say,got to the airport and was over,so when we go to the hotel we phoned hays for them to say it's nothing to do with us now your there,really not happy and won't be booking through them again.

Incredibly poor. Went into Doncaster to talk to a 'professional' to plan travel arrangements. The 'expert' barely looked up from her data entry to respond to our questions with "you should look online". Decided at that point to leave and book through Bar Head travel who were excellent.

Customer service diabolical, No one seemed to know what they were talking about. I gave passport details numerous times , only to be told they have to ask for it each time due to GDPR. When I called into the branch a agent found all my details including passport details scribbled down on a piece of paper stuffed in a desk draw. Why was the GDPR policy not adhered to by there own staff. I was told something different by each agent in the Doncaster branch , when I questioned this , I was told by another agent the staff are new and only just been trained up. If this is the case surely all your staff including NEW staff should be all quoting and adhering to the same policies, not stating ?I don?t know? . When on holiday in Bulgaria my transfer did not turn upat the hotel and the emergency number which was on my transfer letter given to me by Hays travel did not even exist, and the hotel manager kindly organised a private transfer. when I called into the branch after the holiday to state my concerns the branch manager said? yeah we have had other people complian about this in the past , .why was this not acted upon the first time ?. I will never travel with hays again . From start to finish appalling customer service.

called into branch today for holiday quote was being served then the lady answered her phone it was as if we weren't there was more interested in getting some body a flight to Vegas to me total ignorance will go else were to book holiday were staff have time to speak to customer and not ignorant

Don't bother booking with these.. In a nutshell hays is a decent company and a brilliant holiday provider but its some of the staffs attitude that's put me off... Couple of the staff are really helpful at this branch Joe and tara being absolutely superb and professional as they actually had knowledge and knew what they were talking about, but yet most of them including the manager have a chip on thier shoulder everytime you I asked or had a query about something I'd have been better off dealing with a child throwing a tantrum at a toy shop! And also constantly denying doing something then going back on there word! I made them aware that I was documenting my experience the attitude slightly changed but still responding arrogantly and lack of knowledge is quite shocking but this would normally change after some calls back and forth between the branch and head office.. Better option would be to bang your own head against a brick wall... Also stay clear from the independent holiday reps too one of them being Jane thistlewhite... She don't like opinions or issues because she ends up blocking you on social media which is really LOL! It's sad and without a doubt that this virus has a caused a bit of uncertainty but its not our fault and please stop using the excuse "working from home" to delay answers! Trust me iv been outdoors working in this pandemic all the way through like the rest still moving this economy! So you all should be blessed for getting to work from home..
