For the amount of bad reviews this store has for its staff members being rude you would think customer services would do something about it. I have recently had a bad experience in Doncaster smyths and emailed customer services to be told basically it was my fault I got screamed and shouted at across the store by the manager because me getting a toy from the top shelf was a health and safety hazard and it?s acceptable for the manager to verbally abuse you and threaten with police and security if I didn?t leave. I had spent an hour in this shop previous to this getting all of my children?s Christmas presents to be asked to get out and leave aggressively for reaching for a toy from the top Shelf. I won?t be leaving this matter unless something is done about it. They have a real problem with rude un professional staff members especially the manager and if it?s not sorted I?m sure they are going to lose a lot of valuable customers.

Used easy online buying for my purchase easier than driving at this time of year, weather was atrocious. Although I prefer looking at the prices and the quality with my own eyes of products.

Went here yesterday and kids loved it spent all their poker money. Staff were lovely and gave them a free small set of Lego. Which sent them over the ?

Absolutely fantastic experience for my son. The store manager went past expectations, after my son hurting his self in the store today a blonde haired lady in a green top come straight over gave him a special plaster and made his day, not from the plaster but the gesture she did after. I?m guessing she was a manager at the Doncaster store but I can honestly say I?ve never experienced customer service like it, I would like to thank you for making my sons day and say to Smyths you have a cracking employee who was compassionate and caring, she did this off her own back but for the small gesture she did will probably receive 10 times back from the amount of people I tell how good our experience was. The thing is you could tell she never did it for that but to make a little boys day. 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back again

Wow! My daughter LOVES it here! But then what child I?m their right mind wouldn?t?! The selection is second to none. The staff are super attentive and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Absolutely anything they can do to help and they will. The shelves are always jam packed full of the latest toys and newTrends.

Bought a bike for my daughter?s birthday,paid for it to be built up.I rang the shop to see if it was ready for 5 hours solid without anyone answering the phone. I eventually gave up and drove down to find it was still sat in the box.I got a refund for the build up charge and did it myself. When mentioning to the staff members about not picking up the phone they laughed and said we don?t even know where it is. What kind of a business runs like that.I definitely won?t be back, they?re much better at corton wood Rotherham.

Loads of toys to choose from incl. Lego (the adult levels also ?)All games consoles and games available also.Kids love a good wander within Some baby cots/car seats etc at the bottom of the store also ??????????

Been today to the store on york Road doncaster for a car seat, extremely helpful lady explained the fitting to me and actually fitted it in my car for me, very grateful for the professional help and very good prices

Attitude of manager Jess was horrendous and I was not not happy with my experience. She was extremely rude twice when I asked for assistance. Not sure about the reason, she was lovely to other customers but discriminated against me.

Wow! Just had the worst customer experience I've ever had in a shop. I'll never shop in Smyth's again. I was made to feel like a criminal in front of the people in the queue for questioning an advertised price. The manager Jack was insensitively rude and made me feel embarrassed.I'd picked up a Lego set for my nephew, clearly marked on the shelf at the front of store display for £32.99 at the till it rang through at £34.99 when I questioned the price and pointed to the display where the ticket price was I watched the manager crumple up the price ticket in front of me and deny it was advertised as that price.Smyth's you've lost a customer for life. Sorry.

This store sells Absolute rubbish I?ve given them many chances but every time I go in I get a faulty product faulty Xbox, kids toys and even bikes for the kids and then you go to explain the problem the store and managers do not want to know it?s an utter disgrace a company that will do anything they can for money to keep hold of it for a fault broken product telling you it?s not their problem even when you bring the receipt think trading standards needs to investigate this place really really badly run store DO NOT use if possible folks!
