We had my husbands 70th birthday party this weekend at the Earl of Doncaster. Absolutely fantastic. 21 of us and brilliant service. From booking the party to the end of the day nothing was too much trouble. We were allowed to bring our own cake and balloons and table was set up beautifully. Staff are superb and just happy to assist. Afternoon tea was lovely and kids selection was amazing 100% recommend

Just back from having afternoon tea in the stunning art deco room at The Earl. We were a party of 8 celebrating our friends birthday. The tea itself was by far one of the best we have had for the great selection of sandwiches and cakes, plus the freshness of the bread, which many venues fail to provide. But the outstanding attention given to us by all the staff was above and beyond expectation, they were all so friendly. Thank you. We will be back !!

Attended the Valentines Night Ball. A fantastic evening , great food and a fantastic band , we danced all night . Hotel is very stylish and quirky and beautifully clean. Staff have the usual northern charm which we love and they work so hard to make your stay special. Will definitely be coming back.

I practically live next door. Go for afternoon tea occasionally which is usually good! Unless you are getting accused of not paying even when it was paid for in advance via the telephone.. We would visit again though.
