I have been away from the UK for many years and recently returned and settled back home, I went to Asda for the full shop. What a fantastic experience it was. Not only was I able to get every item on my extensive list, I found the staff there so helpful, going above and beyond what I expected. Thank you Asda and your team!!

Really disappointing to see how standards at this store have plumetted in the last year or so. I've never had any problems here and regularly shopped here for most of the last decade.However in the last nine months I've had cause to complain about out of date stock on the shelves, rotting fruit, veg and salad bags still on sale and fresh produce that goes off way before it's due date, suggesting its not being stored properly. Alongside an ever diminishing range, there's just no reason to choose this supermarket over any other.The store experience has become a weekly fight with click and collect pickers and pallets of stock pulled out during peak hours, blocking the aisles. The wide open reception area has been like a jumble sale the last couple of times I've been - racks of cheap clothing hung out for a quick sale or pallets of beers and sweets, but no space to move at the entrance to the store.The self scan machines - one of the main reasons I used this supermarket - they rarely work anymore and are often not charged; and when they do work you can guarantee that the store is going to do a full bag check to make sure you're not pinching a bag of mozzarella or a 49p pack of blueberries.Meanwhile the local scallies are walking round the store munching on goods from the hot counter and cans of Monster that they don't ever pay for.Whatever has happened, the standards and quality of produce at the store have plumetted. I was a guaranteed weekly customer but the issues above have forced me to shop elsewhere and I'll be spending my money at the local Morrisons, via Amazon, in 2024.

Visited 21st Dec. Went to self serve and asked Helper how to scan card as never used self service. She advised and said it had scanned. Searched the app but no points. Called customer service and advised card had not scanned and because they couldn't see what was bought unable to add points. Tried to ring the store to speak to Manager Mick Kemp as his info on receipt. No way of making contact. Why should I lose out because Assistant didn't do her job correctly? Was advised by customer services to contact manager.

I don?t know what?s happened to this place, but it?s gone totally downhill in the past year.Customer service has gone to shyte.The past few times I?ve done click and collect, it?s been atrocious.The last time I did click and collect, I waited 1.5 hours. Shocker.I told the missus at this point that I will NEVER go to Asda again. If she wants to shop here, she?s on her own.

Sells big pizzas for £5, but then dupes you with much smaller ones at £6, that have no price on them. Not a trustworthy store.

Their customer service has gone down the drain. Firstly staff member couldnt be bothered when i approached him for help and secondly when i finished putting my shopping on conveyor belt i was surprised to see the till person had already started scanning and made a pile on the other side even though no one was behind me so dont know why he was rushing for. Also.same story every week there is no full fat milk left as its common sence if its a quick seller then order more in.

Staff rather stand & chat than help customers or approve items shouldn't have to wait 10min for approval or staff to be rude next time I'll leave money & walk out if staff can't be bothered to their job I'm not doing for them ? as for owner hope Ur ashamed of it

Everytime I go in the Afternoon or Evening it's rammed with pallets full of stock, Asda staff loading trolleys up for what I assume is online orders and people restocking shelves, I completely understand the need to do all the above jobs but should be limited to 1 or 2 MAX of the online order pickers on each aisle and pallets should be brought out then worked rather than sitting for several hours blocking access to end of the aisles.Went in yesterday about 5pm and there were 4 Asda staff loading up the big trolleys in one aisle (the cheese aisle) I'm guessing they have some sort of time limit or targets as they didn't care about leaving mess and just threw cardboard boxes about, had no consideration for the shoppers and even heard 2 of them arguing with each other. It was impossible for me to get down with a basket nevermind the woman on the scooter and the people with trolleys and kids. There was a pallet in the middle of an aisle that had been left empty, You really need an on site Health and Safety team evaluating these situations.

Click and collectMy daughter order today between 9-9.30 couldn?t find there order hadnt been picked. had to wait and hour and half couldn?t go in shop to get food because don?t get your money back for 5 working days. People just don?t have this disposable income anymore to buy shopping twice.This is appalling way to treat customers the place is a joke third slip up this month.Home shopping cancelled last week and scan and go or tills not working monday.Someone needs to get there act together

Don't understand why they have 2 till working and 8 just shut while the queue for the trolley shop is full.. its absolute joke.. you should have more staffed tills ... won't be returning..
