Hi i just transfer 1150 from my savings account to debit and they permanently closed my account for fraud, but still missing my money 1150 not back in savings, not in debit ,i can't take them out . I been to the bank 5 times now and they put me on the phone with the investigation team and no answers given ...incompetent staff and incompetent company hope they close soon this branch it's the only one left in sheffield but they should not exist. Any advice what shood i do next to get my money back i had them in my savings for 1.5 years and now they are nowhere to be found it shows in transactions but not in balance haw can that be ?

Awful experience, no help. Tell you to go somewhere else. Had a message in app saying GO TO BRANCH FOR ID - I GO TO BRANCH AND THEY TELL YOU GOODBYE CALL THIS NUMBER WE'RE NOT TALKING TO YOU. LOADS OF STUFF ABOUT PROCEDURE worst bank I've ever come across

My parter had a very bad experience at this branch. They were made uncomfortable by Zoe when updating their personal details. They left very upset by this experience and had a similar outcome the second time around with Zoe.

I wanted to open an euro account and found it on the internet I had to go to the branch. Travel to the city centre to this one and the lady at the door advised me to do this via on-line banking. I asked again and she confirmed I didn't need a branch. Went home and tried online and failed. Eventually I called the helpline to be told I have to visit a branch. Thank you Barclays customer service assistant or whoever you were.

This is now the only Barclays Bank in Sheffield and Rotherham and my grandad ,who can?t drive, banks with Barclays. He can?t use the machines and doesn?t own a smart phone and they only have one desk to help people. We were there waiting 45 minutes before we saw someone to sort out what we were here for. Bring back in person banking for the older generations!!

Super unhelpful the staff that attended me looked like she was forced to work and was being rude that I felt like I?m not allowed to do anything in the branch and it has to be done online. So the reviews are true after all! Save your time and go for other banks if you can!

Booked Appointment. Staff arrived late. Achieved what we needed to arrange. Staff were pleasant and genuine but could have had more knowledge on using software system. No toilet for customers, even when we were expecting to be there for over 2 hours.

I went to the bank to open a standard current account, but was told I need to do that on the app, not in the branch. Back home I downloaded the app and went through the lengthy procedure. At the end it said to complete this process I need to go to a branch? annoyed, I went back to the bank again where I was told that I need an appointment and that the next available appointment would be in 2-3 months only. What a waste of time. Seems Barclays is not keen to attract new customers at all. I?ll try with another bank then which still appreciates people who want to entrust a bank with their money.
