!!Complaint!!! My name is Md. Ismail Tushar. Today, I had an offer to give an interview for the role of Pharmacy Advisor (Dispenser) at BOOTS (Sheffield, Fulwood Road, S10 3BB). When I attended the interview, one of the team management asked me about my qualifications and experience in the UK. However, I stated everything clearly in the CV about my international experience and qualifications. Management did not review my CV carefully but called me for a face-to-face interview.However, the lady called EMMA told me harshly that I do not have any UK NVQ LEVEL 2 qualification in pharmacy, so she would not take my interview. This thing shocked me tremendously. I have five years of previous experience at a pharmacy, and we never used to be as unprofessional as BOOTS in terms of recruitment. If I was unqualified for the job according to my qualifications and experience, why did they call me for an interview and insult me badly?Very poor recruitment, I must say. I would never recommend anyone to apply at BOOTS in the future to be insulted like that.

i had attended the boots 22/12/23 at roughly 1700 hrs. i provided the prescription and waited for a while, i was told over and over again ?it won?t be any longer?. after waiting a while, i was told that the system was not working. so then i asked elena (rudest person i?ve ever met) what about my prescription, will i be able to get it today and she confirmed that i would not be able to get it. i called her out on the fact that it wasnt a system issue and that it was a labelling issue which she had messed up if it wasnt for the pharmacist. i called her out for her extreme negligence and she began being very rude and making a disgusting face toward me. after calling her out her , the pharmacist maintained that i was able to get the medication?. after explaining to the pharmacist i no longer wanted to speak or deal with her ?she pressed the button and claimed i was being aggressive which is why i am pursuing a full investigation/ complaint process ?.i will not be subjected to false accusations and i hope the cctv recorded the incident.

WARNING, please keep away from boots, ordered online to pick up but sent items back before pick up date ran out , boots trying to rip me off no refund yet ,shop somewhere else it's really not worth going through the streess and headache from boots

Prescriptions ordered direct from doctors took up to a week and sometimes more. Had my prescriptions diverted to Day Lewis who are never tardy. Also, today they did not reopen after lunch until 2.15 (2 is the advertised time). Not pleasant in the heat and made me late for an appointment.

Wholly dissatisfied. Pharmacy refused to serve me an over-the-counter product (Clotrimozole 1%) unless I explained to the pharmacist my reason for requiring it. This was highly embarrassing and I refuse to discuss my medical issues with anyone other than my GP unless legally required to do so.I duly obtained the item on eBay!Needless to say, I won"t be using Boots at Broomhill again.

Caring staff is what makes this place so welcoming.There is a closed hour right in the middle of the day which is strange. Not sure if the staff are happy with it.
