Very helpful staff, nice store lay out, sporty ambience, and definitely the complete collection for any sports equipment.

The review is based on that you have to pay to park and if you don't have any coins you can't park as there is no alternative payment method.

Full of outdoor themed stock, from sports equipment to hiking gear, tents and bicycles. If it's outdoor related gear that you're looking for, it's probably available here.

Great mix of lots of sports and activities at good prices. Don't expect the service of a small shop but the range more than makes up. Have used the bike workshop and that is good and well priced, particularly with their own brands.

Great value and their own brand merchandise is of good quality until you are practically professional. Reasonably priced and a wide variety. Great sports store

Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable and helpful. Found everything I needed to do my sports. Wheelchair accessible and nice large changing room. If you want reasonable quality sports wear and equipment at reasonable prices then you would be hard pushed to find better. Only let down by the strange sizing, I got a small top and medium leggings but both reported same size. My advice is to find what you are in French sizing the look for that on the label. (Decathlon is French company, so that's the most accurate sizing)

A good store for all your sporting needs and sells pretty much everything you need. Decathlon sell their own partner brands, so don't expect to find major brand name labels, however the products they sell are of decent quality and can be much cheaper than branded counterparts. The staff are helpful but sometimes its a struggle to communicate with them as they're often brought in from this international retailer from other countries and their English isnt great. Also the shelves can be very untidy and under stocked, often items you see online you cannot find in the store or have been opened from their packaging. But overall some real bargains can be had and you can equip yourself of sports gear for half the price of a major brand label's goods.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Mick is the best guy if you want to buy a road bike. Highly recommended!

Usually fine. God some good sports clothing from here. Staff are usually good too.
Shame you can’t try the bikes in the car park like Halfords and Evans. So for my bike purchase I went elsewhere.

I had a really good experience with Decathlon today. I bought a swimsuit and a wetsuit, which is daunting for those of us who are of the tubby persuasion. Staff were really helpful, and both items fit and look good. Additionally, I didn't realise that the car park was pay and display, but staff were really helpful when I thought I had a ticket, turned out even the warden was nice, it was a reminder of the rules, and no penalty. All in all, will shop at the Sheffield store again! Thanks guys!

Incredibly helpful staff.
Great value for money.
The bike guys go the second mile to get your bike sorted.
Sad they don't collect points anymore on the loyalty app.

Excellent prices, wish they had more people on the till instead of those self checkouts.

Good prices, great staff. Assisted by Mark and Eduardo - couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

Cheap but not cheerful. The place is freezing, staff are having to walk around in their coats and hats. It was very busy, the shop floor was a mess and there was a lack of staff to seek support. They've also moved the tills around however, have failed to move the signs to let customers know - the self-service tills are now the first ones you come to.Customers were becoming frustrated within the queue, as many could not hear staff when they shouted 'next!'. The queue was long, with only a couple of staff serving and others attempting to teach people how to use the self-service tills. Not a single manager appeared to be around to support their staff or manage the situations.

I was out with my dog and passing what I believed to be an "outdoors interest" store (Decathlon), I decided to pop in to spend some of my hard earned money on clothing to wear on my many dog walks. Despite the fact that there was no clear signage, and that this shop is not a food outlet I was instructed to leave the store as it seems they don't tolerate even small, well behaved dogs. In future I will spend my money at the many more welcoming establishments who both consider the requirements of, and actually value, their target market.
