Well done to the staff here. Really helpful at the front desk, well done Aaron. Friendly staff in the restaurant, though not busy, I think everyone came at once so well dealt with Mollie and Netti, and the Chefs.... I don't often go this far in praise for a PI, but the mixed grill is all about the cooking; and bravo Tyler and Lawrence for a job well done, it came quick, it came hot, and it came tasty. The steak was a particular highlight. And to come back to a clean and well stocked room (Dulce) is exactly what's needed after a long day of travel and work. A satisfied customer who thought PI was slowly deteriorating, changed mind due to the professionalism at Sheffield.

I had a lovely stay. All staff were friendly specially the staff called Di who deserve a service quality award. Not all staff introduce their name when you greet them. But Di was the friendliest among all the Premier Inn staff Ive met in the country.Premier Inn is alway meticulous with cleanliness. My room was warm and cosy.

A really lovely room and great base for the Float Away festival. Highlight of any Premier Inn is the breakfast in the morning...this time we were cared for and I do mean cared for by the amazing Dianne. She was a wonderful person...so inclusive and warm... with a frankly brilliant way of dealing with everyone from babies to the elderly and vulnerable...a soulful gentle funny and friendly personality wrapped up in a smile and a work ethic that puts so many (looking at you current government) to shame. Thank you Dianne. Truly hope that Premier Inn are proud of and celebrate the fantastic staff in Sheffield... they are very lucky to have you!!!!

Located right in the centre of Sheffield, a short journey from Sheffield Train Station via the cheap blue/purple super tram lines, 2 stops to Castle Street and a couple of minutes walk. The outside location initially looks run down, but into the lobby, we were greeted by friendly staff. The lobby has a small Great Ormond Street hospital shop area which was a nice touch and showed a caring side to this hotel. Check in was a breeze. Up to our fifth floor premium room which was quiet, functional and spotlessly clean. Super comfy bed, fridge in the room with complimentary water and chocolates. The view wasn?t great but that didn?t affect us. The bathroom had premium gels and rain shower and fluffy towels. The shower occasionally went hot then cold. Air con and wifi was effective. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and again, friendly staff. We didn?t stay for dinner or use the bar because we had other plans but I did note the bar closed early, around 10pm. Security was treated seriously with key cards required for lifts and some corridor doors. Check out was quick and friendly. We would stay here again in any trip to Sheffield city centre.

Superb location which is extremely close to the centre of Sheffield, clean rooms and good bed. Very good service from staff. It was extremely easy to check in and subsequently check out. The breakfast was excellent.

Absolutely disgusting room, we booked the Premier plus room for our comfort but it was horrendous, The most disgusting dirty room we have ever stayed in, stains all over the place, the cleaner of room 516 needs a good talking too, This has put us off staying in any Premier inn in the future, The most horrendous disgusting stay in any hotel, we came out feeling dirty, Also on check out we were totally ignored by the receptionist, Sort this hotel out PI

Didn't get a second of sleep as I was being bitten all night by something and was itching all over. Woke up to find 12 massive welts on me. 3 on my face! Automatic check in and no one around in the morning to mention it to.

We all know about the amazing beds and comfy pillows at premier inn but what made my stay here the best was the helpful and super friendly staff that couldn?t do enough for me, from the desk clerks to the cleaning staff all were always smily and went above and more to make feel welcome and nothing I asked seem like too much fuss. Keep up the great work guys A*

Great staff and service but shame about the room. Staff were brilliant and dead helpful and the breakfast was great and parking ended up being free which was nice too. The room was great with most the amenities (sadly no fridge) but it was so warm and no openable window and air conditioning did next to nothing so it just made the room a bit very nice place to be. Overall good experience though

The meeting rooms are very conducive, with all necessary amenities and the receptionist, Bridie makes our stay seamless. She is very friendly and ensures that we have all that we need to have a good meeting on Sundays.

Premier Inns are pretty reliable your room will be in a good state, But at this one you'll meet your new best mate, Aidan made our trip a delight, His customer service skills are just right, Extending birthday wishes and a kind little treat, He was the best hotel desk bloke we ever did meet, Thanks for making my friends birthday trip such a treasure, We'll be sure to return whether we travel for business or pleasure.

I stayed with friends to celebrate my birthday. It was my second time staying at this hotel and think it?s great for convenient/cheap-ish parking nearby, great location (close to Sheffield Theatres, comfy beds and super affordable. Special shout out and thanks to AIDAN who made our stay extra special with early check-in and delivering some treats to our room. Was a lovely surprise - great guy!

Due to noise of skips lorries and men shouting from a firm next to the room at 5.30 on some mornings did not get a restful morning for myself and my daughter who was in a swim competition. Also complaints I felt ignored and late check out not given.

Overall the stay was expected as a typical Premier Inn. Nice room, nice bed, clean bathroom. Disappointed in breakfast - no muffins, no croissants, no pancakes, surly staff, waited 15 mins for porridge. Only had breakfast for first morning and then ate elsewhere. Room not serviced with very weak bin liners that split and overflowed. Ran out of tea bags and coffee and not replenished so had to ask at reception, Carpet in corridors need replacing. Small resturant and bar that was expensive compared to local facilities and prices. Cavells was great and price very competitive with the resturant at hotel. Wifi at hotel kept dropping out but costs £5 to upgrade to ulitmate wifi, so used dongle instead. Very expensive Saturday night price - over £200 for one night. I don't pay that for London prices let allow Sheffield. check out Friday and stayed elsewhere on Saturday. Car park fee expensive. Not my favourite Premier Inn at all - prefer MeadowHall and would stop there next time rather than Angel Street, and use the tram to travel in. £6 Cheaper to pay tram fee than car park fee per day.
