Absolutely confused went to put some money in checked opening times Friday closes 3pm got there 2.40pm closed. Said on the door times Friday 3pm ? ? why don't they update their website times, also the actual notice times on their door. VERY CONFUSING

I moved to the Halifax as my wife & son were with them some time ,things were O.K. till my wife died from the corona virus in June of this year .Their bereavement team was a absolute joke and all the rules & facts in their sign - up "bumph" went out of the window and most of the stuff on their website is complete rubbish .The Wife"s account was £40 above their limit for not needing probate ,now here I am a disabled man in my 70s ,nearly destitute waiting for the final word from the bank if it"s going to cost me £100s to go to probate or the courts .Mind you I have only been waiting for them to decide what they are going to do nearly 3 months after her passing - should it be this much trouble because my Mrs. didn"t make a will or should the bank be more sympathetic & helpfull ?.

Absolutely disgusting service went in to open an account for my 16 year old son on Friday was told i couldn't just go in and do this i needed to make an appointment or the best way to do it is to open the account on line they will then send us an email with a reference number and go back into the bank once we have the reference number together with my son and his ID. My elderly mother has just been in with my son and his ID and were told that no one is there who can do this refused to take copies of his ID and told us to go to Meadowhall or town which isnt possible.

The automatic paying in machine has gone from being there, but unreliable, to being completely absent. I can commend the branch on having the best collection of dead flies on the floor that I have seen for a very long time. I had a great deal of time to view them as I waited an inordinately long time to pay in my cheque.
