Went in to re-open my help to buy ISA as my house purchase fell through. Was in there for over an hour on the phone to someone as they couldn?t do everything in branch. Then had to return anyway because it would take a couple days to reopen. Went back for the appt. Had no record of it and the person that I was meant to see wasn?t even there. So again had to wait to see someone, ( I had made this appt post night shift from working at the hospital ). Then was still there for another 55 minutes as they couldn?t scan on my documents. Said they?d ring me before 6 and make sure it would be done to save me waiting. No phone call. Staff was nice but I?m not getting any progress? Now going to have to return AGAIN. Really not happy with this branch at an already stressful time.

A little stressed to have to go to the bank at Meadowhall. As there is now no branch anywhere near where I live. It was however very well organised. The staff were lovely and I was in and out in no time. The queue moved quickly and the foot flow markings both in the bank and outside in the malls was very clear and seemed to be adhered to by everyone.

Very slow service as Covid can't always be blamed, not interested in helping out with getting the ques down, it's the same across each Halifax, also they haven't increased the branch hours, they are still working on part time hours, would like to see the branches being opened back up on a normal 9.00 till 5.00 basis!

Halifax reps. are efficient and deal with you in a very friendly manner..You never have to wait long and you request is dealt with speadily. I find find Halifax very good at explaining things also, its a good bank.

Poor Service... \\u0026 asking me as a customer what im needing the money for is ridiculous (Its My Money So How About You Keep Your Nose Out)\\nCould only draw 2500 out cash(Joke)\\nAsking What I Need The Money For(Joke)\\nAnd Asks Me For I.D.\\nThink il be moving banks very shortly as all the staff there are sour faced \\u0026 every time you go there too busy chatting amongst each other \\u0026 show very little Custom service.

Always only 2 staff at the cash desk, have to wait 20 mins + to get served. It was much better 2 years ago at this rate going back to the dark ages

Wishes halifax would address the issue of number of counter staff working. Every time I call the queue is very long at least a 15 minute waiting time . The poor counter staff are always polite and helpful but constantly under pressure . Please reassess your numbers

It's a joke. Systems have been down the last two visits. Always a very long queue. Staff wondering around, when they should be serving customers. Moving banks after Christmas. Load of rubbish
