I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with helping hands so far, I?ve been here for around 4-5 months and I am amazed with how well I can fit my personal life around this job. Being a full time university student, this job allows me to work alongside my degree and still manage to have a personal life due to its flexibility. All of the customers are lovely making work enjoyable. Management are brilliant and are always there if I have any concerns or queries. I have no complaints at all.

I started working with Helping hands just over a year ago. I wasn?t sure what to expect as this has been my first job in care, and you hear so many mixed reviews in the press about carers and care companies. However, I can definitely say it?s the best move I?ve made! The office staff have been great with me from the start and always been on hand if I?ve needed any help or support, either during calls or after.I?ve found a job that works around my family life which is really important to me, and was one of my major factors in starting a career in care.I?m really grateful to have been given this opportunity to work with helping hands as I?ve met some wonderful people who all really appreciate what you are doing for them. I also feel appreciated by my team, which is something I?ve lacked in previous roles.I?d definitely recommend helping hands to other carers looking for a new position, or families looking for a professional care company that treats all its customers as individuals.

Absolutely lovely company to work for, office try there best to make everything as easy as they can for you and keep you informed. Care can be unpredictable at times but always felt supported by staff and leaders. Always reliable with pay and don't feel harrased when off which I have felt working for other company's, on top of that customers are so lovely. All in all very rewarding job.

Both Jodie Taylor and Olivia Wright were incredible. Both handled a very taxing day with utmost professionalism whilst being extremely empathetic. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

I've been working with Helping Hands for just over a year now, I became branch manager for Sheffield in October and I must say I have the best team of office staff and carers. They go both and beyond for all our customers and deliver an exceptional high standard of care.

Having never done care before I wasn't sure wat to expect. From my first interview I knew I had made the right decision. Yes it can be hard work and long hours, but that is community care, I was always given sufficient time to travel between customers and was never back to back and running behind. When I first started the Sheffield office was running the whole of South Yorkshire so some days I would be in Doncaster and others in Sheffield, now that the new branches have opened up the Sheffield branch delivers care to Sheffield and Rotherham now. Within my time I have been promoted twice, the company believes strongly in upskilling employees. It's not the easiest job in the world, no care job is, but the benefits and rewards from Helping Hands are the best around. They pay rate is one of the highest in the area and mileage is also paid. Would highly recommend.

Helping Hands are a great company for both hourly care and live in care. The staff are friendly, efficient and show real care and commitment to my mum.I would highly recommend them as without their care my mum would not be able to live in her own home.

All in a good experience. The level of training given is second to non. Im only upset with the fact physically i cant do more. Upset with myself for this reason but whilst working with helping hands supporting our clients with living their best lives and studying to become a counsellor both together will make me feel somewhat better in my future

Geat service for my 90 year old mother. We were initially concerned on how her daily visits were going to work but it has worked out as we had intended so far and they have helped her remain independent living at home following a stroke. The carers are great.
