“Lovely Stay, check in was a bit rushed, not much information passed on but staff were friendly and the food was delicious! The rooms being outside is not ideal in bad weather but once in, the rooms are cosy and comfortable. In a very rural spot but great for the relaxing stay we were looking for.”

“Stayed recently for attending a conference, room was huge - a little chilly as a result. Maybe some more furniture in such a large room would keep a little more heat and make it more cosy? (My only criticisms!) Made up in their modern style, looking smart!Though the road was close by, couldn't hear a thing with the window shut, and not much more with it open - soundproofing well done!Room service was immaculate, bedroom and bathroom spotless. When I left the door hanger to request that my room be cleaned, an excellent job to clean up - without disturbing my stuff or the bed - left precisely the way I wanted it from the previous night. I'm certain that if I'd asked for anything different, this would have been done too - just ask reception, no trouble.Breakfast was exactly as expected, good hot food and bacon well cooked. If I'd had more time, I'd have tried a greater variety of things, but having yoghurts available is a great help with a cooked breakfast!Reception - brilliant, can't fault the service. I'd thought I'd left my umbrella behind in my room, and going back to check was no trouble. (It turned up later in my luggage, thanks ladies!) Another ringing endorsement for Travelodge staff - I look forward to giving many more!Very convenient for the interchange and access to the shopping centre - they're literally a few minutes away on foot.”

“We booked an overnight stay for a Uni open day. Arrived at 1am and were greeted immediately a very pleasant member of staff. The room was clean and there was plenty of parking. It met our needs at a very reasonable price.”

“Arrived jut after 3pm and was warmly welcomed by the reception staff. Outlined I’d like a room facing the road and Connor worked some magic, on the computer, to accommodate my request. Room was very comfortable, clean and soundproof, with good working air-conditioning. Evening meal was good and Connor, yet again my host/waiter. All dishes were explained with any additional costs for extras. Overall, a worthwhile trip, good food including breakfast, cosy room and excellent staff.”

“Well done to the staff here. Really helpful at the front desk, well done Aaron. Friendly staff in the restaurant, though not busy, I think everyone came at once so well dealt with Mollie and Netti, and the Chefs.... I don't often go this far in praise for a PI, but the mixed grill is all about the cooking; and bravo Tyler and Lawrence for a job well done, it came quick, it came hot, and it came tasty. The steak was a particular highlight. And to come back to a clean and well stocked room (Dulce) is exactly what's needed after a long day of travel and work. A satisfied customer who thought PI was slowly deteriorating, changed mind due to the professionalism at Sheffield.”

“I liked it. Brilliant breakfast for all was a lovely part of the stay. Disappointed that no rooms have baths. Really need a long soak after a longer drive. Super shower but I want a bath!!Rooms: Large but NO bath!! For me a break away starts with 2 hours in the bath, bottle of Red and bath foam.”

“A very late decision to stay in the area with prices all around higher than normal, except here, which saw my other expenses covered from the accommodation price savings. It doesn't pretend to be 5 star accommodation and is a little tired, but I got a good nights sleep each night so a very restful as well as fun filled break.”

“There would be 4 stars for food if requested.Always use this hotel. It is never usually an issue, and if there is, it's usually something that can be resolved.Previous feedback has been listened to and followed, which was very much appreciated!The room was great, clean and tidy, and well presented, everything in it you would expect from a premier inn.Check inn was quick and easy.Evening meal however wasnt great.We had 2 burgers as part of 4 separate meals.They were burnt and overcooked and tough as old boots.I sent mine back and got a fresh one made within 10 mins.When it came back, it was immaculate. Hot, tasty, and exactly what i would have expected. (Fantastic recovery).Breakfast was ok, cant put my finger on it, but it seemed off par.All staff were great and helpful. Especially the two who were around when we had our evening meal issues.Overall, an 8/10 for this stay.Subnote, onsite parking makes this place worth the stay”

“We stayed for one night in September 2023, cost £69 for room only. Room was great, clean and plenty of space. Tea & coffee making facilities. Common areas are immaculate! Staff were polite and helpful. Great location, just off the Moor shopping area and about 5-10 mins walk from city centre and train/bus station.”

“Location is good. The hotel looks good and pretty. Staff are helpful and cheerful.However, we booked for a family of 3 but only 1 complimentary bottle of water available in the room and not even a basic biscuit. These are little things you appreciate even of you stay in a bed and breakfast more so with a big hotel chain like this.Sauna was out of order on a weekend. Good thing we didn't book solely for spa use as I will be really disappointed. The pool water was cold as well.All in all stay our stay was good. We had a beautiful view of the winter garden and city. Very good breakfast with plenty of choices. It just somehow didn't meet my expection.”
