So slow to serve, no apology for the wait time. It seems utterly chaotic with people waiting in multiple areas and customers having to check with eachother who's waiting for what. It's even hard to spot staff because they wear trainers and t shirts now

It does take an awful long time to get anything done. HSBC used to have a branch in Broomhill - always busy - closed down due to "lack of activity". This branch has only 2 counters. Double this and you would cut the waiting time (which can be an hour) by half.

Been having issues signing up to online banking, went in twice and staff managed to sort no problems, turns out they had put my phone number down wrong and were able to change it right away instead of waiting 7 days as normal

A front of house staff member was just full of attitude when i questioned a process that I've successfully done at other HSBC branches. Please sort out your customer service please.

One of the reception with a scarf on head was so rude and she didn?t have any patience for listening. Miss information telling but didn?t realize her fault and just pretended or acted she was confused and she didn?t know what happened. Such an awful experience.

Staff unhelpful, machines not working, wasteful use of resources filling paper slips when trying to pay money in using a debit card. Wasted trip.

Just 2 cashiers are working so people have to queue and wait for ages in order to add some cash. Unbelievable that the bank can?t sort this out

Furious with this bank. Elderly relative, lifelong customer, wanted to transfer money electronically into savings account. No counter service in branch. Told to either do it online or to do this in branch incurs a fee of £17. Just to make an electronic payment (not CHAPS or international - a UK bank not HSBC). Staff were abrupt and impatient with her, no consideration for her age and limited understanding of online banking. Came home in tears and is still upset about this days later.I tried to phone them to discuss this and complain.. no branch number, only automated system, unable to proceed as a non-customer. I will help my relative to change her account to a different bank. Absolutely abysmal bank.
