Very rude staff. I registered online to open a bank account and was instructed to go to the nearest Lloyds bank to submit my documents. The lady didn?t even let me explain my situation. She insisted I come back on another day cuz they didn?t have the capacity. I was very polite but she raised her voice with a condescending attitude. Please stay away from this bank

I wish I could give them a zero star! Rude staff with very poor customer service skills. I wanted to add my wife into my existing account, they said they have no capacity to respond to such a huge demand! I even told them that I took a day off at work just for this, and I can wait as long as they want me to, but they said that they have no capacity due to the influx of international students.If the bank doesn?t provide a reasonable response and also a smooth solution, then I don?t mind to withdraw my money and go to the next door?s bank!

Let me begin by clarifying that there was no option. Otherwise, they don't deserve even a 1 star as they set great examples of the worst ever customer service that I have ever seen.I visited this branch last week, Thursday the 22nd, with my niece to help her open an international student account. I have banked with Lloyd's for more than 20 years in London and found the staff in my local branch ever so friendly and professional, but the staff helping with the initial queries here were extremely rude and condescending. City centre were full of international students trying to open bank accounts, so I would have expected Lloyd's to ve a more prepared to accept new business and remittances but it was as if they don't want anything to do with the international students. We were given pre printed information and no other help was offered. As we had all our information in hand, we decided to take an empty chair and started filling out the online application. We were rudely interrupted by a lady staff member and asked us to fill it at home, I replied politely that we are pretty much done, but she was having none of it, she spoke to a few other colleagues of her and they left whatever they were doing and came start asking us to leave and fill it at home. It was as if they were ganging up on us. Another strange thing that they keep saying to us and others that were there in the branch that "if you fill your application here, then you will be rejected for an account, and we can't help you". I told them I am on my mobile network and why I would be rejected ? it is such an absurd and strange behaviour that we decided to call it a day and take our business to Metro Bank just a few minutes walk away. There, we were treated by happy and professional staff, and we opened an account with them. Mind it, we were not the only ones as there were others in the Lloyd's branch with us who ended up at the same Metro Bank.Lloyd's higher management needs to take a long, hard look at the staff working in this branch and if they are not happy to work in the business then they need to get rid of them, rather than losing new business.

Been and from Sheffield born and breed. I have never experienced a bar staff with no knowledge of bar work. Not to mention state of toilets. Disgusting.

I had a meeting a 9.00 am this morning I was on time when the bank opened I was told to wait and I was waiting for just over 30 minutes. I just had another waiting around.
