Poor customer service skillsToday I?ve come into the store as a regular client who?s always choosing this store as my first point of call, and was treated with disrespect and disregard.The staff here lack customer service skills and are outright rude and on a power trip.I simply asked how long it would take and was met with disrespect, the receptionist had no social skills and called the manager Tom Williams out who after I asked the same question of how long this will take told me, ?if I carry on? he will ?make sure I wait even longer?That is disgusting and unprofessional behaviour against a regular customer who has brought so much business to this store, I would like a letter of apology for the way I was disrespected in front of my colleague, and would like to sign posted to the complaints procedure.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

AVOID, I was missold a Cash ISA, clueless customer service agents (not at the branch but the Metrobank call centre), waited over 30 days for a transfer. They use cheques internally so everything takes ages. It is not an instant access Cash ISA, you need to call every time you want to do something. Other banks have a better more functional app. As soon as I get my money I will be transferring out of there.If I could give a 0 star rating I would.

2hrs spent waiting and doing a isa that could only be opened in branch to realise when I got home they had opened a instant access normal account. Seriously like I kept asking him questions about isa's and when he was telling me about the account I kept saying are you sure that's right cause I've seen different he kept telling me yes. I even mentioned how this had to be opened in branch only but he still opened me an account I could have done myself online in 5 minutes.People make mistakes but if he had any idea of the companies products he'd have realised his mistake with the questions I was asking.I like the idea of a good bank for the people good opening hours etc but unfortunately metro bank is failing and you can see why.Huge bank that didn't feel like a bank as you walked in.Polite staff though

After applying several times over due to failure by Metro bank staff in misinformation being advised by the junior staff members on the accounts applications forms, we spent several months going around in circles only to be declined the account by Metro due to their own errors. It was advised by the manager of the store that they came to the decision based on internal policies that were related to financial regulations within my industry. This is in light that my company in actual fact is a non-financially regulated business and states that now on its marketing of which they even had us rebrand on social media as part of their DD hurdles trying to open the account on the 5th of 6th visit to the store. I cannot explain just how frustrating this whole process was due to Metro being unable to conduct proper business reviews.The customer relations was incredibly poor in the fact they had miscategorised in the first place and our account as a result could not open even as a simple trading account with Metro. The reality is, they did not like the name of my business. I feel that my business was specifically declined as it says the word ( Romanichals ) which translates to Gypsy, which was mentioned more then once during the process, inviting RACISM in part to their decision to not want to find the resolve. The lack of support for SME?s is another sign of non willingness to provide solutions for new companies either as was also highlighted. The whole event was truly shocking !Subsequently I?ve taken my business elsewhere and I recommend other start ups and SME do the same so they don?t fall into the same sort of time loss trap in believing the Metro marketing which from experience is totally incorrect.

Had to do this yesterday but was too tired and forgot but I just want to say big thank you to Leslie who incredibly went above and beyond in assisting me and my wife yesterday 06/12/23.Long story short, came into store with my wife and my wife was looking to get instant access account , Leslie approached us with a beautiful smile I?ve ever seen ,told him what we wanted and I said I wasn?t to sure about the instant access, Leslie sat me and my wife at his table , explained most of the accounts to us and we had quite a long discussion , but I must say how incredible he was with his detailed answers and gorgeous smile. I?m actually looking to book an appointment and have a business account with metro. But overall loved the banking experience!

I usually pop in to withdraw money for more karma colas when virgin money is shut 9/10 need better opening hours and maybe a karma cola station also sometimes get cool keyrings

As always Metro Bank put customer service first on our visit yesterday. The gentleman we spoke to went above and beyond for us including rearranging his counter space to allow my daughter to sort her account. Impressed as always. I just wish there was a branch closer to Lincoln for us to visit.

My metro bank card didn?t work , I have ordered new card over the phone. But same again that new card not working for online purchases. I went Sheffield branch they given new card, again that not working as well, I called the bank help-line and they asked me too many security questions I answered them and they asked where and which branch did you open the account, I said not really sure and not remember. As Soon as the lady ( name: Sara) spoken with me said your card was blocked need to go any metro branch. I explained everything what was the issue and this was not my fault. The nearest branch was in Sheffield but I am in Mansfield that took me 40mns to go there , costing fuel as well. She not listening.

Had a very bad experience at Sheffield branch recently. Guy at counter was really unprofessional and rude. Appalling behaviour not sure what was wrong with the guy. Just needed to deposit some cash and he literally told me I am lying about where I got it from. It was ok if he had refused to deposit the cash or advised to bring the proof later on instead of making assumptions and getting personal. I guess he was angry on the counting machine which wasn?t working and took it out on me. Horrible experience.

I had Fraud use on my metro bank accounthey then tell me it was rectified then allowed someone to use a £190 of my money to pay pal and left me with no money for the next 3weeks I was strongly suggested not using metro bank because their security is very poor

Looked on their website & it clearly says that the magic money machine is available to use by NON customers.I walked into the Sheffield branch yesterday & was ?headed off? as I got to the machine, by what I can only describe as an ?aggressive jobsworth?. She proceeded to question me about who I banked with & if I was a customer?When I said no, she immediately told me I could not use the machine. I asked why? She replied, ?only customers are allowed to use it?. When I told her about the website, she said ?Ah, that?s changed, due to Coronavirus, now only customers can use it?. When I told her that was ridiculous & that anyone could have Coronavirus, not just non Metro Bank customers, she told me to leave, aggressively.Will never use that bank now.
