Lovely staff. My partner and I bought a lot of high quality furniture from the shop, including a beautitful mid-century German vase. Fairly priced, I think. Some might say expensive, but the items are high quality and you can tell the staff take a lot of time to check and research them. We also got a few handmade, felt Christmas decorations from here, super cute! Also as an avid reader, I buy and donate a lot of my books from Broomhill Oxfam. Again, really fairly priced and always for an excellent cause :)

Nice charity shop. But can?t believe how expensive certain items are. Common sense seems to be lacking, when pricing items up.

Nice charity shop, best for books which are all justly priced but not the cheapest. I?ve found some good ones in here, usually within a great range of genres and all in good nick. Lots of quality furniture but never been too impressed with the clothes selection, often a bit pricey too.

Avoid. This charity shop seems to have lost touch with what a charity shop is and fancies itself as a bit of an antiques store it used to be great this time last year. The furniture is great and fairly priced but anything other than that is so overpriced and half of the stuff is in bad condition. £10 for a used supermarket mug? So sad that they seem to have forgotten what a charity shop is about.

I was not impressed when I visited this Oxfam branch. Whilst browsing, a lady tried to pay for her items but her card failed several times before payment was successful. The sales assistant was polite to the lady but as soon as the lady left, started talking badly about her with a colleague. There was no one at all in the queue so I thought this was very unfair. When I approached the till, I pointed out that the packet of socks I wanted to buy only contained five socks. I was not offered a discount but was told I would have to "hop around" by the sales assistant who had just been rude about the other customer behind their back. I presume this was a joke. The sales assistant implied that I was pedantic and silly to point out that there was one sock missing. However, I would expect a discount to be offered or that this shop checks how many socks are in a packet before putting them on a shelf (there would be no problem in them just selling four socks as two pairs - that would be more professional).

The shop is brilliant, and would really recommend it for the wide variety of second hand books. HOWEVER, one worker who appeared to be the manager had very poor communication skills, not giving anyone any warning about the closing time, and became quite hostile quite quickly. Honestly at a time like this I am a bit disappointed by her actions.

We love going into our local shop. We like to support it by giving and buying. They always have lots of good books and maps . And you never know what you will find in there. :)

One of the best charity shops in Sheffield. A wide range of second hand books, clothes and furniture in good condition.
Prices are often very reasonable, and there are regular sales.

It's a great place for quality second hand goods, and if you like books,it has a good book department which is worth the trip by itself, it's not the cheapest of charity shops, but if quality is your thing it's the place to go to, I've had some amazing finds there.

The shop has a great range of items for brilliant prices. The layout of the shop floor is amazing for disabled and wheelchair users would find it impossible to get around the shop.
