“I took my Rotary watch in during lockdown for what I thought was a new battery but they explained that the whole inside part needed replacing. I said yes immediately to £130 and some weeks waiting the part from Austria, as I had the watch since I was 21, despite the defensive attitude of the staff member. It soon came back working well.This week I went in as the winder broke. I was thinking I would pay anthing to have it working again but the attitude and unfriendliness of the same man put me off. I said "I know I can buy 2 watches for the price of a repair but I dont want a new one" because I felt I had to justify having it mended. I might be back and virtually beg him to repair it. They always do a good job”
